This device is freaking awesome!
I've had a couple of Kindles since they were first released in 2007 and they just didn't do it for me. They were OK, but once we got tablets and phones with high-DPI displays such as Apple's Retina displays I preferred to read my Kindle books on my phone or tablet because it was one less device to carry. This Kindle changes all of that. It's small and light and fits into a jacket pocket or a large pants pocket. The battery life is phenomenal. I dropped my Kindle behind my bed in early May, three months ago. It was in a place I couldn't reach without moving the bed out from the wall, which is a two man job since I have a king sized bed with a steel frame. Last week I got someone to help me move the bed so I could recover the Kindle. I thought I was going to have to recharge it, but it still had 45 percent charge, this after not being plugged in for three months! Charging via USB C is very quick. I plug it in occasionally to top it off and rarely if ever get a low battery warning. The backlit screen is easy on the eyes, it has a warmer tone than the older Kindles and is very pleasant to use. This is a fantastic e-reader and is worth taking with you even if you have a phone or tablet with the Kindle app.

Perfect portable and efficient desing.
As someone who was a physical book lover forever, I dared to enter the world of Kindles and omg! this has changed my life!! I love how portable and functional it is! I really enjoy the design because it is a great size to carry everywhere you go. I love how I can read no matter the lighting of where I am, it is always bright enough and no glares. I also really love the color, it is such a beautiful raspberry color and it gives it a special pop. The battery life is also amazing, it last a really long time. This has become another extension of myself, I will never look back, I have all my favorite books in this special little treasure.

Hates holding a heavy book? This is a must!
Oh my gosh! I wish someone had told me to get a Kindle as soon as possible! As someone who really hates reading, this device has made it so much easier for me. How and why? The Kindle is incredibly lightweight—lighter than my cellphone! Its size is perfect, and the design and functionality are well thought out. It’s extremely user-friendly, so even a non-reader like me can find joy in reading! Now, I actually look forward to going to bed early to read at night. The neutral color is ideal because it doesn't have any distractions. The front light feature is especially helpful for my ADHD. You may wonder why I chose the 32 GB option instead of the 16 GB; I prefer having plenty of internal storage just in case. The speed of turning pages is impressively fast and smooth. If you want to read but dislike holding a book, I highly recommend the Kindle! I did consider other third-party reading tablets, but I chose the Kindle because I wanted it to arrive as soon as possible, haha! I’m not familiar with other brands.

Wonderful
This device has rekindled my love for reading. Its screen is as close to paper as possible; your eyes will notice it. The screen size is ideal. It feels comfortable and light in your hands, and best of all, you can have all your books at hand. The availability of books is top-notch and varied. I think every book lover should have one. Its screen can be adjusted as much as necessary, and the automatic light sensor helps keep the brightness in the ideal place for your eyes. The fonts look clear and precise at any size you want to adjust them.

Ideal for those who love books.
The Kindle Paperwhite Signature is a fantastic e-reader with sharp display, adjustable warm light, and wireless charging that makes it super convenient. Battery life is impressive, and the 32GB storage is plenty. The only downside is the slightly higher price compared to the standard version. Overall, it’s a sleek, reliable device perfect for book lovers.

I love my Kindle! Update!
I have had my Kindle for over a month, and I am still excited about this Kindle. However, I just saw that it is on sale (Black Friday Deal), and I wanted to cry. It is now $45 less than what I paid (excluding the cost of the charger and case; add another $60 to that $45 (Ouch!)).Then, I had to have a talk with myself, and it went like this: Trinigal, stop being upset! You are fortunate to have purchased a Kindle that works well, and doesn’t have issues (like others who have shared the dissatisfaction with their Kindle). You are still enjoying your reads and always looking forward to your next read. I then chuckled to myself, and said that the title of the next book I select should be: When is the right time to buy a Kindle? My original review is below:This is my first Kindle, so I don’t have any other Kindle to compare it to. I usually read a physical book, books on my Computer, IPad or iPhone. This Kindle makes a difference in my ability to relax while reading a book. It is an awesome device that is portable, light weight, and convenient.Although I like reading on my IPad, it will no longer be my go to device for reading (When you know better, you do better). My house is full of unread books that I bought over the years, and that really bothers me because I just couldn’t find the time to read (being a professor with lots of other academic books to read, I gave those academic books priority over a good novel). Now, I am at the point where I want to read books for relaxation purposes. I chose the Kindle Paperwhite Signature edition as part of my incentive to read a good book.I researched this Kindle for an entire month before investing in it.Let’s get to the workings of the Kindle:This 7 inch Kindle is easy to hold in my hands. The IPad truly strained my hand when I tried to use only one hand when reading. At times, I had to lean the IPad on my thighs for support. Now, there will be no more hand to thighs when reading! The Kindle set up was very easy, and user friendly. I did not experience any problems connecting to the internet. After set up, with bated breath, I waited to see how the pages turned on the Kindle, and if I will find any fault with the action of turning the pages of the book I was reading. I am happy to say there was none; no noticeable long lag time, no problems were experienced with the turning of pages on this Kindle. Then I squinted my eyes, opened my eyes wide, I turned the Kindle upside down, and side to side while turning to the next page of my book; I was trying to see if there will be any trace of the previous page as I turn to the next page ( ghosting; some users experience an imprint of the former page while moving to the next page of their book). Happy to report, I tried hard to find a problem with that but I found none. What about the battery? The battery charged very quickly, and there was no problem during that process. I did charge the battery with the case on the Kindle, (as the picture shows). The Kindle came with an 80% charge and in 30 minutes (or less) it was fully charged (100%).I am hardly ever swayed by reviews:Sometimes reviews work as an incentive, or a deterrent….I always say, try an item out and make your personal decision. This Kindle is a keeper, and I am also going to purchase the new Color Kindle Colorsoft. Conclusion:This Kindle paper white Signature Edition , Gen 12/32 GB, is truly made for reading. It is certainly a handy device for traveling, and reading on the go. It is easy on the eyes, and therefore, easy on the brain. The raspberry color is really nice, and I plan on buying an extra clear case so that I could easily see the vibrant color of the kindle.I am honestly excited to be part of the Kindle family!
