CitizenMen's Eco-Drive Marvel Avengers Watch, Gold Tone with Black Silicone Strap, 3-Hand Date, 44mm (Model: AW1155-03W)

Huge Marvel fan here, and am hoping some magic continues after the end of the "Infinity Saga" but, certainly wanted to celebrate that tremendous first run of fantastic films. A rare cinematic feat, tying together so many movies in such a masterful way, with such a rousing finale! When Cap faces the onslaught with only his broken shield and his "I can do this all day" determinism, the moment when all the Avengers then begin to appear at his side, wow!Anyway, so, yes, being a watch collector, and hoping to get a commemorative Marvel watch, I was pleased to see Citizen get this merchandising agreement. To date, only Invicta had official Marvel watches, and I did not find them to be inspiring. I own a number of Citizen watches, so, I already know they are great watches and this one just seemed to sum up the entire Marvel franchise with the iconic Avengers "A" on the dial, which represents the central crew of the films. "Earth's mightiest heroes, sort of thing."It's a beautiful watch, period, and I love that the nod to Marvel is so subtle. It's not like wearing a "comic book" watch with limited use. It can be a daily wear piece, given that it is simply a terrific looking watch, Marvel nod aside. Perfectly sized, fits nicely under a cuff, very comfortable to wear.It's Eco Drive, which is a great middle ground between quartz that needs batteries every few years, and autos that need pricey servicing every five years. So, you get quartz accuracy, kept powered by light, with no battery changes needed for a very long time.Just a mineral crystal, but 100m WR, date window, well made strap, outstanding lume and the design, well, for a Marvel fan, it is just outstanding, even incorporating, in the textured dial, a sense of the honeycombed time travel equipment used by the team in the fetching of the Infinity Stones.I had waited to get this, at first, just due to the higher pricing, but, when the price dropped over a hundred dollars, it was a no brainer to grab it. At the time of this review, in early 2020, I see the lower price is still in effect, so, as a gift for a Marvel fan, or a gift to yourself, you can't go wrong on this watch!Highly recommend this wonderful Marvel tribute piece!Hope this helps, thanks for reading! :)

Absolutely beautiful watch. Reminiscent of Iron Man with the gold and red strip on the dial. The no-battery is a cool feature. Definitely didn't have it when I was wearing watches. Band is standard plastic for a watch, fits snug around my wrist. This was also $80 cheaper than what was advertised on the Citizen site. Solid buy!

I bought this watch as a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It's now his favorite watch. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. I have no regrets and my husband definitely doesn't!

Very nice watch. Looks even better in person. This watch had a nice size and is very comfortable to wear.

Although received the day after Christmas after waiting for 3 weeks (not the sellers fault but USPS :-/ ) my husband was NOT disappointed!! He loves it abs wore it out to show off tonight!
