I recently added the 17.5 kg dumbbells to my home gym, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. The build quality is impressive, ensuring durability during even the most intense workouts. I bought the 17.5kilo pair as an upgrade to the 10kgs that I have owned for a while now. I was getting comfortable with these so I decided to upgrade. Initially wanted to buy the 15kgs but the 17.5kgs were actually cheaper, so I thought “go for more weight for your money”. Bad idea, well kinda, for the time being. I can only lift one at a time, so the other one makes a very effective and expensive door-stop. I don’t know whether it’s a wise thing to weigh something with engraved weight labels on it, but I did it anyway. Mine performed better than expected, (well I did all the lifting, they just sat on the scale). Both of them weighed in at 17.7kg.The grip is excellent, the fit is great and are extremely comfortable to hold as long you keep them on the floor. For some reason, the comfort in my muscles declines rapidly as soon they get off the floor. My grip also tends to loosen by the 5th rep. I can’t tell why because the dumbbells don’t come with a manual.The strong rubber smell fades away after a few days but I haven’t noticed any weight changes, (mine or the dumbbells) because of the loss of smell.Overall, the HOMCOM hex dumbbells are really good and they deliver as promised plus a 200g bonus. The only downside is they need someone to lift them before they start working for you.

Well put together band a reasonable price

I found HOMCOM's 20KG Dumbbells to be bulkier than standard ones of the same weight, making them inconvenient, especially for individuals with smaller builds and hands. Returning them was a hassle, requiring separate payment for return delivery of both dumbbells. These may suit those with a larger physique, seeking a visually imposing dumbbell. Personally, my 40KG set is smaller than 20KG HOMCOM Dumbbells. However, I appreciate the prompt customer service that efficiently handled my refund request. (I deducted one star because of the noticeable burning rubber smell, further impacting the overall experience)

Quick delivery, well wrapped up on delivery too. The dumbells are of good quality, maybe a rubber handle would help with a grip but the handle is otherwise ok. I wear gloves as my palms sometimes hurt but that's just me I think. Overall very pleased, a lifetime investment. Oh, and they are heavy as described ;) Thanks!
