This has been an excellent little device for the three months I've had it. Deals well with nasal and ear hair without any painful pulling (don't use it for eyebrows) in roughly weekly use. So far the battery is still going strong. I've experienced none of the reliability issues mentioned by others, but I do clean it out meticulously after each use (dry, not wet). I suspect this is the key to reliability. Unusually, you can get replacement blades, but they cost almost as much as a new cutter.

Researched this very well and I must say, after having gone through quite a few of similar products, I must say, this is the one. Brilliant personal grooming product. Look no further.

When it works it does a good job. But getting it working is a bit of a joke. Every time I use it I have to open the battery compartment and twist the battery back & forth to get the motor running, and even then it's often intermittent, and the speed goes up & down and sometimes stops altogether until fiddled with again. This in spite of a new Duracell battery.I've just tried gently bending the top sprung battery terminal down slightly with my fingernail to hopefully improve the contact, and it seems to have made some difference, but I shan't really know until it's been put away for a week and tried again...I think the motor is ok - if you run it without the cutter head on it feels quite strong when you grab the spinning shaft with fingers. The problem seems to lie in the poorly designed battery compartment.

Like it.The cutting mechanism is round which I found far better for my nose hairs than the other brands which tend to be long and thin. However, I think the long and thin ones are slighly better for ear hair. But I bought this mainly for the nose so I'm happy.

I have purchased a number of these over the years and this is by far the best.It cuts well and I like the fact that it's washable.Its quite powerful considering its size and it doesn't look to bad either.
