Really, really works.
We live in a 120 year old brick house. With layers of paint on the walls, you know there is lead under there. Reception is bad, many routers have been tried including other mesh systems. So I figured I would give tis a try. Hoping it wouldwork because it is pricey.Installation was very easy with the app. Didn't even get to finish my cup f coffee. The big test was my office. Signal has to go through 2 exterior, two feet of bricks and a bunch of old paint. Success! Reception is great, speed is wonderful and we are very pleased.I highly recommend the Eero mesh routers.

Great WiFi Router Option.
These WiFi routers were great. I had full control of my network and could label devices as they connected to my network. This was extremely helpful to identify all devices and make sure to stay secure. Speeds were great as well as the coverage. Super easy setup. Highly recommend if you need to update your router. Great value for your money.

Easy set up for great wifi!
The setup with the app was amazingly easy. The base unit recognized the modem, and the secondary units without any issues. No repeated typing of IPs and passwords - it was great. The network signal is robust and reliable. The only thing I have noticed is that very occasionally the base unit will go offline, but the status light will not indicate this. The app is helpful here for network debugging. Rebooting the modem solves this.

Better than expected, pretty effortless setup and operation.
Cons : Did not survive having 80 pounds of exercise equipment. Perhaps I am a little over-optimistic there :)Pro : Setup is why this gets 4 instead of 5 stars. Took 2-3 minutes of fiddling to get the setup to complete. I had to power cycle my cable modem, to get the router to handshake successfully.BIG PRO : The app sits on my iPad and gives options for the hardware - Add, Delete & Replace. I figured there could be a serial number or MAC Address that might need to change, IDK, not my area of expertise. Apart from the modem power cycle, it was seamless, replacing the hardware, leaving my network configuration untouched and my various devices and IoT connections came right back without me having to do anything.

Fantastic, Fan-TASTIC!
Coverage is great, signal is strong in every inch of my home. The "True Mesh" technology works exactly as they claim. I've never had speeds this good, never had coverage this pure and consistent. I'm upgrading from the TP-Link Tri-Band 6E, which I've been using since August 23, have included a few photos for comparison because this Router is elegant and beautiful in comparison.Over the years I've used several mesh systems: Google was great, simple and it just worked, all the time. I once spent a PILE on an Asus Zen system, ironically the worst I've dealt with. The TP-Link was just ok, nothing great about it, just a few problems: First was that whenever there was an update it was always an adventure & would leave me jerking around for an hour or so to fix things afterward (kind of like a Windows update, where you cower in fear until successful reboot haha). The User Interface of the App is great. Easy to navigate and all the info you need. NO, you don't have to pay the monthly fee on this, you'll get everything you need without it. Don't believe those youtubers out there who are claiming otherwise.Bottom Line: Buy this. Install is simple, fast, easy. GUI is beautiful, the router itself is attractive & blends into a room easily. Your coverage will be great....

Fantastic upgrade over comcast xfinity pods
I've had Comcast's all in one gateway for several years coupled with two of their pods. I think they might call it mesh, and it extended my range/coverage, but you sure as heck couldn't roam from one device to another. Anytime I was watching streaming and moved around the feed would eventually cut off. Chat GPT told me that my ios devices were sticky and tended to stay with a known signal even though another stronger one was nearby. Chat said the xfinity was an entry level system and I'd expect to see an improvement with something like eero. Yikes it was right! Instant improvement! Very strong signal, and I can roam all over the place, even from wifi to cell and back, with absolutely no dropping. Fantastic. I have a three pack all talking to each other wirelessly, for now. And with this change I've also learned I dont need the comcast gateway/modem/router to talk to my one wireless comcast tv box, so i bought my own modem and took comcast's gateway back, saving 15 bucks a month. Great system so far.

Weak signal strength but otherwise fantastic
Signal strength poor from each unit, but otherwise everything else is fantastic. My prior router, a single netgear nighthawk x65, provided good coverage to 90% of my home and I purchased a 3-pack of this expensive mesh system to hopefully get closer to 100%. I am still trying to find optimal placement of these devices to reach the same connectivity level as my single netgear router does, and I even have 2 of the 3 devices directly wired, which is a great feature actually. If I can wire all 3 then hopefully it will cover the whole house on the same network. I live in an old brick house, about 2500 square feet and 3 floors. Otherwise speed is fantastic, setup was easy, and I love the automatic switching between 5ghz and 2.4ghz, which was manual on my older router. Speed is awesome if you are in direct line of sight within 15-20 feet, otherwise just meh. Bottom line, really good product but I wish they had stronger antennas like my old router. Since the purpose of these mesh systems is to provide excellent coverage and so far it provides similar or worse than my single old powerful router I have to give it just 3 stars.
