In addition to providing a substitute pillow for napping in a seat, this one has extra velcro straps that can fasten around the back of the top of the seat to keep the head upright, not drooping to one side or the other.

This pillow is very comfortable. By attaching the strap to the back of the seat, my head tended to stay in a comfortable position. I actually fell asleep for a little while on an overnight flight. That very rarely happens.It was a little bit of a hassle to remember to get the pillow out of the carrier bag when not using it in order for the pillow to retain its shape. It take a little effort to get the pillow back into the carrier bag. But, the carrier bag is helpful for keeping the size manageable when transporting the pillow.

This product is comfortable and very practical for air travel. I’d recommend it if you want to rest or sleep during your flight.

I've tried a lot of travel pillows, from the old school donuts, to the travelrest that straps across your chest, to the J pillow, and the trtl. This one unfortunately isn't a winner for me. I brought it on a transatlantic trip. The first plane was on Delta and while there was a headrest that moved up and down, when the pillow was strapped on, it was too high to be comfortable. I'm about 5'6" so average height. I think I would have needed a couple more inches of height for this to have worked. Coming back on United, the pillow height was a bit better, but it's honestly quite annoying to have to keep unbuckling yourself from the pillow everytime you want to move. I was traveling with my dog so everytime I went to check on her, or when I needed to get something out of the seat pocket, I'd have to unclip and reclip. Bottom line is I didn't get much sleep using this pillow on either flight, so I think I need to keep searching.

Feels amazing. And worked really well on my flight! I have trouble sleeping because my heads falls to the side and with this it barely moved.

I bought this travel pillow in March 2022 and used it for an overseas flight shortly after. I stored it in our climate controlled master bedroom closet. I just took it out of the carry case for another upcoming overseas flight to allow the memory foam to re-expand. Well, it’s been a full week and it is remaining deformed from being compressed. Nothing has worked to re-expand the memory foam. The pillow is not usable in this form. I could stuff the empty zippered pillow sleeve with a down puffy, but it will not have the support I paid for. I will contact the company to see if there is any warranty service.Review update: no warranty. Cabeau purposefully (I believe) leaves out in the Amazon webpage description the crucial instruction that the pillow MUST be removed from the carry case during storage between trips or the memory foam will be permanently deformed and the pillow useless. Did I mention the pillow doesn’t prevent your head from dropping forward and abruptly waking one up AND it is too hot to wear for a flight over an hour? Hard pass.
