Why do the white ones have a dark back strap? The whole point of getting these in white is so they can't be seen under a white shirt!

Might return them. The Tag is super scratchy on bare skin. Would you please consider making them with the tag only on the side not touching the skin?

I had the same problem. I discovered that a metal nail file quickly eliminates the scratchy edges on the tag.

how use with pants with no center belt loop?

You will need a rear center belt loop for these suspenders to work. Two (2) belt loops on the front and one loop in the center back. I hope this helps. I’ve been using/wearing mine for almost a year and am very pleased, so much so I purchased a second pair.

Will these crack/fade under sun exposure? Fading is fine, but if it weakens or snaps under sun exposure then thats a deal breaker

Really you'd need some time with them in continuous UV to have such effect. I wear over my undershirt but under my outer shirt (or street shirt), so UV just isn't an issue. UV exposure wouldn't cause catastrophic failure, they would fade some first...I'm guessing unless you are in the Gobie, Mohave, or Sahara, there won't be enough exposure to noticeably lessen the life of this product and at $40/pair, you'll get your money's worth. Once you wear a pair, you'll wish you had done it sooner. Be sure to measure like they tell you...there is very minimal adjustment on length.
