Perfect Dashcam Mount — Clear View and Easy Install
“I bought this for my dashcam and replaced the suction cup mount, which gave me a clear view while driving. It’s been working great for 4 years, so I got another one for my other vehicle. Installation was hassle-free and easy, and it’s made using my dashcam much more convenient. The mount feels sturdy and secure. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and neat dashcam setup.

Priced well, works well.
I didn't want to deal with suctions not suctioning consistently especially with how hot it gets here so a mirror mount was the answer. It was super easy to install in my Dodge Nitro and didn't move or vibrate one bit. I moved it over to my Nissan Murano and it mounts in there with no issue. The only issue I see in my Nissan is it vibrates a little (can see it in the footage) for some reason and it's almost like it's never tight enough. Why? No idea but it hasn't fallen off so it's fine.

Works with COOAU D30S 4K Dash Cam
Either use the original adapter from the suction cup mount for the camera along with the smaller "U" shaped adapter from this kit, or there are 2 other adapters which are compatible with the mounting hole of the camera. I chose to use the "U" shaped adapter to give me a little bit more flexibility and precision for the angle at which I wanted the camera to be set at - it gives just a little bit more reach so I can position the camera closer to the windshield. I also used the rubber strap provided to help the clamp grip better on the rearview mirror assembly. Once every thing is tightened down it is very solid - I have no concerns about it loosening or shifting. This universal kit seems to have enough adapters to cover a very wide range of cameras and setups. Except for the screws and wing nuts everything else is made of some kind of composite plastic - it seems durable and should endure the hot summer and cold winter temperatures. There is a bit of concern about mounting an additional item onto the rearview mirror assembly, like it might over load the OEM mount... but we won't know until something happens to it.Based on my needs for compatibility with the COOAU D30S 4K Dash Cam I can highly recommend this kit. Your mileage may vary for other cameras but there are enough adapters that you could rig something together. Give this a try... you can always return it if it doesn't fit.

Somewhat fits the z edge wifi dashcam
I like the idea that it isn’t a suction cup. i don’t like how it hangs the dashcam a bit lower than what I wanted.. but I’ll have to get use to it. Out of all the pieces provided, 1 piece somewhat fits the z Edge wifi dashcam. It fits as in, it is small enough to slide into the slot of the dashcam to hold the dashcam. BUT! because it doesn’t exactly fit the slot snuggly, the camera is CONSTANTLY shaking so you won’t be able to see your video clearly AT ALL. I’m not joking when I say that the video is extremely shaky. Go and look at other peoples video on here with the same exact issue and you’ll see what I mean. hmm I’ll have to try to make it work somehow? Maybe tape it down?? Ugh what a hassle it will be to have to rip the tape off and on just to keep the dashcam from constantly shaking. Is there a piece out there that can fit perfectly?! if anyone out there knows one that actually fit the z edge perfectly please let me know!UPDATE: so I thought the problem was only because the piece is too small to fit snuggly. After taping the dashcam tightly to the piece that holds the dashcam, I realized that was not the only reason why the videos are EXTREMELY shaky! It is ALSO because of the entire thing..it’s not sturdy enough to just hold the camera in place or something!! As much as I’ve tightened it, it keeps shaking!!!! ugh this thing sucks!!! I’ll figure out another way and if it doesn’t work then I’m returning. So so so frustrating.

Not very compatible with Ventrue cameras or others with USB placements
Some dashcams have the placement of where the USB goes into it above the camera itself, unfortunately mine is one of those. This makes it tricker to set properly, looked for alternatives and the best I could think of was getting longer screws. My Tacoma also has a girthy mirror shaft so that also took space away from the screws they had sent. I got 3" screws at the hardware store and they worked but I can't adjust the mirror anymore. I wish they placed these 3" screws themselves and give me less of the joints that are essentially trash to me.

Lifesaver
This is exactly what I was looking for! I bought a dashcam about a year ago, but unfortunately, the original suction cups became unusable due to high temperatures. I was disappointed, thinking I’d need to buy a new dashcam, but then I found this reasonably priced product, and it was a lifesaver. I highly recommend it to everyone—it’s easy to install and of great quality.

Works great
Yay, no sticky residue on my dash or my windshield. Enter the dash cam bracket. Game changer.Came with an abundance of different mounting options to fit your particular camera. There were two that were close and could work, but then I found the one that fit perfect and even snapped into place. It took a hot minute to install this puppy by myself, I kept thinking I needed a third hand. But, after some time I figured it out and got the bracket installed on the back of my mirror.TIP: There are FOUR (yes, four) stages to installing this. First figure out which of the 16 choices of brackets match your camera. Second, install the mounting bracket with the flywings onto the back of your mirror. Third, attach the bracket (from stage one) onto the mounting bracket. Fourth, attach the camera to the bracket. Whew! Took me about 1 1/2 hours, because I had a HUGE learning curve to figure this out, LOL.Once installed and everything was screwed tight into place, this thing HOLDS your camera with no shaking. Camera is perfectly centered with no adhesion that can leave sticky residue or even come off in super hot weather. It's a must if you have your windshield tinted.
