What’s in the package? 1 – Hyperion Samsung Galaxy Note 3 9600mAh Extended Battery 1 - Back TPU Cover 1 – Warranty and Instruction Card Initial Charging Instructions for Extended Battery: Your new battery will likely arrive uncharged. It is not uncommon for a battery to have a slight charge remaining from the manufacturer and/or testing process. Regardless of the initial charge, your battery will always need to be conditioned. 1. Remove any plastic packaging. Some batteries are shrink-wrapped with a clear cellophane (plastic) wrapper - remove completely before charging. Leave Hyperion label on. 2. Install the battery in your phone. It is not uncommon for your phone's battery meter to give a false reading of the battery's charge (wrong number of bars) until 4 or 5 complete charging cycles. 3. Charge your battery overnight (8-12 hours) for the first 4-5 cycles. It is critical to get a full charge in those first few cycles. Do not deplete to 0%. Also remember that some smart phones need to "adapt" to the new battery. 4. Keep the battery dry and away from moist and corrosive materials. Never cross the terminals on the battery. 5. Recharge the battery once every 3 months when not in use. 6. Never use the battery if it becomes swollen. Contact our customer service department for a replacement. good battery, good cover
If you're deciding between this battery and ZeroLemon's, get this one. They're both 9600mAh and interchangeable, but Hyperion's cover is better. I know because I've owned ZeroLemon's "10,000mAh" battery/cover combo for the past year and resorted to buying this one when the cover began to crack.Since there are no other reviews yet, I'll try to make mine more thorough:--Battery--It's hard to measure, but this battery does seem to have 3x the standard capacity. You could realistically take a week-long trip without bringing a charger. With the right apps, you could also drain it completely within a day, but that would take some dedication.Less importantly, the battery is bigger than what's shown in the picture, and 9600mAh (not 9660) is what's printed on the label. It's made of 3 stock-size (3200mAh) cells in a plastic casing shaped to leave no wasted space when put in the phone. The only difference from ZeroLemon's battery is that Hyperion's casing is marginally thicker to hold the NFC circuitry (I think), whereas ZeroLemon tucks it under their label.Oddly, running a demanding app can drain this battery nearly as quickly as the stock battery, but minutes later it will regain some or most of the lost charge. It's as though the "secondary" cells charge the primary one whenever they have a chance. Not exactly what I'd expect from cells connected in parallel (are they?), and that's why measuring the capacity is hard. ZeroLemon's battery acts the same way.By the way: charging the battery works the opposite way -- unplug it too soon, and the reported charge will drop quickly as the primary cell charges the secondary ones. I won't pretend to understand it, but you do need to leave it on the charger a while after it reports 100% to fully charge it.--Cover--The cover, which is 3/4" deep, is what it should be: a piece of TPU that fits very snugly but isn't terribly hard to take off. The volume and power buttons are especially good - as clicky as if they weren't covered at all. My only nitpick is that the Note 3's shiny rim often shows at the bottom edge; it could fit better at that end. But overall, it's a good fit.Compared to ZeroLemon's Otterbox-like case, Hyperion's TPU cover is less bulky, its buttons are easier to press, and speakerphone mode works better (people complained that I sounded muffled with ZeroLemon's case).Really, I don't know why ZeroLemon decided to over-complicate their battery cover, but I'm glad Hyperion saw the opportunity to make something better.

Wonky charging but worth the price.
5 stars for the manufacturing for both battery and especially case however the battery power is a bit wonky. I've noticed for the past and beginning week of ownership the power comes in stages instead of a straight forward access to power. It might just be my imagination but based on the manufactures recommended break-in process and how the battery reacts to charging I'd say it's likely sets (plural) of batteries tied into one as opposed to one big block of batteries. Especially evident how it charges to 100% repeatedly dropping then hitting 100% over and over hours after it reaches full recharge. Keep in mind I'm inside the break-in period.Make sure to keep it on the charger for a few hours after reaching "full capacity".With that being said the battery is absolutely an upgrade in terms of longevity as compared to OEM battery. Couldn't take pics of phone or battery as I use my phone for all pics. Online pic very accurate and the feel, tight fit and weight very nice. Not feeling like made in China although likely was. A bit heavy like a tank but solid - nothing jiggling about. I personally like that feel. Added bonus, for the first time I was able to remove my screen protector as the case does have a small lip rising above the surface of the screen. Can't begin to say how nice that original clean defined screen looks now plus the fact that the worn edges of my phone are completely covered. Basically a brand new looking phone, long performance and super bright, clear images on screen make for a very happy customer. Not sure I can fault the manufacturer for the performance as I'm not sure anyone has anything better so 5 stars.

Crazy Good Customer Service and a great battery.
Battery: it's really like having 3 batteries in one. Just have to charge until the phone actually says fully charged and to unplug charger. That is usually a couple of hours after the battery reaches 100%.Battery warranty: This one says 2 years vs Zerolemon's 180 days (6 months).Battery cover: just wished the bottom lip is tighter fitting. Even then, I personally prefer this case to the Zerolemon case, the later is more rigid and about 2 or 3 cm taller and slightly thicker. Hyperion's case is smaller and has a softer feel.Custom service: their customer service is crazy good! I complained about the cover having a slightly loose lower lip and a battery that has a slight give in one of the corners and wanted to return the item, but instead was offered a full refund and to trash the item, which is otherwise fully functional.

The battery life is excellent but the case of the zero lemon is worlds ...
I was torn between this and the zero lemon battery/case. The battery life is excellent but the case of the zero lemon is worlds ahead of the hyperion case. Given the chance I would probably buy the zero lemon over this one.

Solid Battery
Great investment for your power hungry bloatware taxed Note 3. I get about 24-30hrs of life out of one charge. I use my phone a lot throughout the day. Great battery, and the case that comes with it is solid but ugly. I have dropped my phone several times and it has survived everytime. I would recommend it

What a Beast!
Been using this for a month now and its amazing.I read a lot about extended batteries and also I have seen how poor Zerolemon's cases are (as my friend had one and was crying about the case)So I decided to get Hyperion via a friend who was coming back to India from US. The case is perfect and provides a nice grip to hold.I get a 20 hour Screen ON time (more than 10 hours of it in mobile data).Ordered it long back and my friend reached home a month back and I am using it from then...

Great 10000mAh battery.
Great product for the price removes my anxiety of not having enough battery life. Furthermore, after testing the battery it is actually 10000mAh I guess they are just being conservative with there numbers just in case someone was wondering.
