This Well Meets a Significant Need
I have looked for a product that would fit what is perhaps a need different, at least much of the time, from what this product seems primarily designed to do, at least based on the accompanying illustrations; namely, to keep a button-down shirt collar straight and smooth rather than rumpled, deformed, and crushed when it is used without a necktie. That's all good, and I can use that, too.My more acute need is to have a properly appearing button-down shirt collar while wearing a tie, which I must do frequently and often with button-down dress shirts. I know I'm not the only one to be plagued by collar deformity, for I see it all the time in others—and it looks, well, unsightly. The deformity occurs when the tie portion around the neck and under the collar slips down just a bit from being directly under, where it should touch and support the inner top of the collar. Because button-down shirt collars do not have stays and also are not stiffened to some meaningful degree—which most non-button-down shirts are, at least name-brand shirts—a little "valley" develops in the space between the top of the collar and where the around-the-neck portion of the tie now is mis-positioned near the front of the collar.I have experimented with Slick Collar and have proved to myself that this product prevents this evidence of defective grooming from appearing. Slick Collar's projections to the front—which I have adjusted so that they come as near to meeting in front as they can without having the tips actually visible—exert enough upward pressure on the underside of the collar so that no serious deformity is permitted to occur.I should mention that I use the large one of the three, and I also have removed the Silicone Grips—which are not needed at all when the collar button is fastened and a tie is used—so that the necktie will move freely and not be hampered while it is being knotted. Furthermore, to ensure that a little slice of tie does not peek out at the bottom rear of the collar—a possible product of having a bit more bulk under the collar with both tie and Slick Collar there together—I take a few extra seconds to make certain that the tie is pushed up at the back of the collar. For years uncounted I have attempted to find something that would solve this problem, and this is it. My search has ended.

These are quite good. I am very particular about my appearance and I hate sagging collars. I had my doubts but I use this daily. Want to improve your appearance game? Get these. There are some other ones on Amazon for $20 or so. I haven't used them but I see no reason to pay more for such a product. These actually looked sturdier than the more expensive ones. Yeah, it's just plastic. I wasn't expecting bone or aluminum. They work as advertised. Excellent product at a good price.

Not a perfect solution, but the best available for a polo shirt
I got this in hopes it would help the cheap polos I have to wear to work. The kind with no collar support, just flimsy collars that lay flat. I don’t think it’s made for polos, but it was worth a try. It did its job for the most part, but it constantly shifted. I had to go to a mirror often to make sure it wasn’t shifted, especially if I used the phone and had to prop the phone between my ear and shoulder. Overall, I would recommend it, I just have to tinker with it, or apply some type of tape or adhesive to keep it in place

Does The Job
This worked really well for me.

Good idea, but just weird.
Picked these up to resurrect my loose collared dress shirts after I quit wearing ties. I think the concept is pretty good, but these are just weird. My biggest issue was floppy collars and these do little to solve that complaint. They hold the upper collar in place, but don't feel very secure when worn.I've opted for metal collar stays and magnets instead.

The perfect solution to floppy collars
Don't you hate it when you put on a nice dress shirt, and the collar just lies flat and limp? It just looks sloppy, and you feel like you shouldn't have bothered, because you look like a slob. These are so amazingly simple and work as described. Easy to adjust to size, and simple to use - just slip it under your shirt collar, and it stays looking sharp. I keep a pair in my dresser, and use one any time I put on a dress shirt (and sometimes for casual shirts, depending on the collar style). Men: Buy this product if you want to have a sharp appearance!

Excellent product
I read some negative comments about this product. I don't agree. Of course they are plastic. They can't be metal or wood. They are sturdy and adjustable. You get great value for the low cost of $10.95. You get two sizes; regular and slim. You also get some collar stays. Most people don't need collar stays but at least you have some extras. The tin they come in is really nice. I would recommend this company save money and just send these items in plastic. Guys, just store them in a drawer. You will be using them more often than not. However, the tin is a nice touch.I don't have any affiliation with this company. I'm in my 60's and just appreciate good value and quality.

They work better than not having them.
So these do help your collar stay up and “perky.” With that being said some shirts work better than others depending on the collar design. I find that if I wear a collared shirt I go ahead and put them on because they do work and help.I would say that they don’t always have as drastic of an improvement as the product description depicts, but they definitely improve the overall appearance of the collar. Also, the product I received came with those little plastic collar stays which was a nice bonus and helps too.My other concern was concealment and whether they would stay out of sight throughout the day. Well, they do stay pretty well hidden almost all the time. Again, this is an area where some collars perform better than others. I have some shirts that it will eventually show in some way or another. Then on the flip side I have shirts that have never had an issue and when I go to do my laundry the collar device is still there! LoLI recommend this product and will probably buy more if I ever lose them.
