Immersive Game! Just about a perfect game.
This game studio has outdone themselves, not only does the game look and behave incredible. The distinctive lack of a HUD through the entire game provides a unique story driven narrative. The enemies react and notice sounds and your presence much better than any metal gear solid game does. The level of detail to the environments, characters and the authentic sounds and animation of the firearms, further provides a level of immersion that has rarely been seen. However, the main character you play has no dialog options. The enemies are scary and unlike other games, they do not drop items. Like other FPS games, there are no levels to gain, only upgrades to your gear/ weapons to find and scavenge from enemies and boxes. There are two endings and a karma system that will determine what ending you get. Once one beats the main game there is the bonus options to look forward to in, New Game Plus, including: developer commentary, all weapons from your initial play-through, real-time day night cycle (really helps with the immersion) and dynamic weather (where dust storms and other weather related issues can stop you in your tracks and force you to either find shelter or wait it out. overall I would give this game a 10 out of 10. There are scary mutated creatures and sometimes, sometimes they swoop in or jump out from camouflaged hideouts. Always check the corners for enemies and supplies! I highly recommend this game to any FPS gamer. *For parents, young players and those who play the game around young people; one should know that the game does have some fowl language and the Caspian Sea level has some topless NPC nudity right before the boss fight.*

Nice cover design and small but well presented art book.
Metro started out as a niche post apocalyptic game with an engaging story that built a following through its first 2 very enjoyable games, even if they were at times hard to play. The third installment is mostly removed from the claustrophobic tunnels of Metro and opens up a whole new vista of scenery and danger in the frozen wasteland on the surface. For the most part the relatively small group that developed this game did a very good job and the game was gritty, tough and had a good balance of hopefulness and desperation. I enjoyed the game and would recommend it to any body else, especially if you played and enjoyed the first 2 games in the series. I would also recommend the source novels to get greater depth on the back story if you see them at a reasonable price.

Solid edition for fans of the Metro Universe
The Limited Aurora Edition is a really nice collectors piece with one minor exception. Let’s get the bad out of the way first, the steelbook looks very mediocre compared to the standard edition. Although that being the case the actual steel sleeve is real cool. The sleeve is foam lined to protect the steelbook and art book. There is also a plastic sleeve that covers the steel sleeve with all the box art details. The art book is 32 pages long and the mutant poster is in Russian. One last detail about the Aurora edition is that it doesn’t sit flush with other ps4 games on a media shelf. It sticks out a little more.So far a really enjoyable game roughly 20 hours in and I am happy to say it’s more metro.

Beautiful game, really good story!
In sum, Metro Exodus takes the best elements of 2033 and Last Light and adds a major evolutionary component with open world exploration and crafting. A potent balance is struck between the claustrophobic atmospheres of previous games alongside the new design of expansive open world areas. The blend of full-on action with stealth and survival horror is nicely done as well. I found Metro Exodus to be a more engaging and hard-to-point down experience than I anticipated, and whether you have played the series before or not, Exodus is well worth checking out.

Great story/gameplay with some annoyances
Presentation:The collectors edition is well worth the money if you're a fan of the series. The presentation is simple yet appealing. Included in this edition you get a sick steelbook plus an artbook which fit inside of a box with a plastic slip cover. I'll try to include pictures later. Oh and you get the season pass for upcoming story content plus a dynamic theme for your ps4. All of these things being included makes it worth the price in my opinion.Story/Gameplay:pretty entertaining so far. If you've played the other games in the Metro series then you may remember that the game-play was pretty linear and there wasn't much to do other than find ammo and guns. Metro Exodus is way more than that. Its an open sandbox sort of game with much more to explore. They've implemented a crafting mechanic which fits in pretty nicely. You can now craft at workbenches sort of like in fallout where you can install weapon mods, craft ammo, health, air filters... Oh and certain areas allow you to sleep till morning or night time. Why would you want to sleep? Well apart from restoring health different times allow for different strategies. For example at night time it is easier to sneak around undetected but their may be more monsters roaming the area. The gameplay is a nice change of pace from the other metro games though i suppose some may not like the changesMain Issues:I encountered a glitch early on in the game where i could not load the next mission. Pretty much an infinite loading screen. The only work around was to uninstall the game and start all over which did fix it in my case but i was pissed. Also the new gameplay changes while they are nice, can also be frustrating. Sometimes you wont know where to go or you wont have materials or a bench to craft things that you need.Tl;drCollectors Edition is worth the money in my opinion especially if you're a big fan of the series.Game play has a bunch of new added mechanics which may be fun or frustrating depending on the situation.Encountered a pretty big glitch early on in the game which made me have to start my game all over.4/5

Fantastic game with PS5 update
Unfortunately, the tin box arrived damaged. But the contents of the box are undamaged. The expansion codes expired in February 2021.

Grandioso juego. Buena edición.
El juego es increíble, muy en la linea de los dos anteriores pero con un poquito de mundos semi-abiertos. Recomiendo ampliamente jugar primero Metro 2033 y Last Light.

Beware ...
The "free" bit of this edition cannot be downloaded outside the UK or US without paying an extra fee. This was a gift for a family member living in Europe and, although I have been told that the game itself lived up to expectations, there was extra costs involved.

Case was badly bent
Amazing game. Terrible packing. Outside metal case was severely bent like it was sat on and had to be pried open, and inside steelbook was buckled and bent and won't close. Looks like I'm not the only one, now that I've read reviews here....
