Actually works and no nasty chemicals
So we now have both indigenous and imported mosquitos in much of the lower USA. The so called Asian mosquitos are commonly called ankle biters for obvious reasons. They are active in the day and at night the native ones take over which means 24/7 biting. I have found out I'm sensitive to the ankle biters so a simple bite can swell up into a quarter sized itching annoyance. Not good. Trying to stay away from extra chemicals so out of desperation I tried this product. You spray it on your skin b/f exiting the house and supposedly it keeps the biters away. Well much to my surprise, it does! I spay on exposed skin, a lite spurtz over clothes and even one above my head so the scent is in hair area (be sure to keep eyes closed and do NOT breathe in the spray!). I don't think this would work if you were swimming but I use this b/f going outside to garden or do other outdoor activities and it really works. Lasts for me appx 5-6 hours unless it's really hot and I'm sweating like a horse in which case only lasts appx 3 hours but I'm usually showering a/f heavy nasty humid outdoor activity anyways, so no problem. The only caveat I'd warn people about is if you (like an ankle biter) hate the smell of eucalyptus and/or lemon. This product is basically a spray of those essential oils and it is very scented. Personally I love the smell but some people might not. Last summer I only had a few bites and they were on areas where I had been wearing thin clothing. This year my practice, like I mentioned, is a light spirtz over clothed areas and no bites yet. So I'm definitely happy with the product and have a bottle indoors and outdoors!

Top Quality natural Bug Spray! I HIGHLY Recommend.
I absolutely love this spray! I had Lyme Disease in 2023, and I've become highly aware of ticks since it left me with several issues that are still resolving. So, you can imagine that I am very concerned about the quality of my spray. I have been spraying this spray on my entire family and feel safe and confident using it. The smell is a bit strong, but it's pleasant. No one has had any strange reactions, and I love that the ingredients are natural. On one occasion, I didn't spray my daughter; she went on the swing and came in with two mosquito bites on her ankle. Otherwise, no one has had any bites since I started using this spray. I send both my kids to camp with a small bottle, keep one in the car, and one on the back patio. I feel comfortable gardening again with this spray, too.The spray is clear and does not damage clothes. I literally just spray it directly on our clothes, our shoes, and at the base of the skull since ticks love the hairline. A 4oz bottle has lasted us almost 2 weeks and is still half full, spraying 4 people head to toe every day. The 2oz bottle goes in our bags and has been used for backup, but the sprayer is good and I've been able to get every drop out when I emptied a bottle.

Spray nozzle
The product seems to work great. The only problem is the spray comes out in a wide area. When I pointed the nozzle at my ankle, the spray came out on my ankle and 6 inches in either direction.

It *DOES* work.....
(4oz Pump, 2-Pack)... Does it work perfectly? No. Will mosquitoes sting you sometimes even though you you spray this stuff on? Yes!I don't know what all the factors contributing to some mosquitoes being more aggressive than others are... Maybe the scent emanating from people's skin? The amount of CO2 or heat given off by the human body? The breed of mosquito? Dunno, but I think this stuff works the majority of the time.I read a few bad reviews criticizing this repellent 1) not working 2) smelling awful 3) feeling bad on the skin 4) criticism regarding 70% being "other ingredients" (and assuming they are dangerous), and so forth. To me, this does not smell badly, especially if you are familiar with the powerful smells of some essential oils; the two that this contains happen to be strong-smelling oils.To me, this feels a little oily, but it's bearable.Accusing the company of using dangerous chemicals in the "other ingredients" because "OTHERWISE they would have listed the names," seemed a little unfair - so I looked them up on their website. The the "Inert ingredients" are just Water and Corn Ethanol. To me, not lathering myself in toxic chemicals to ward off the mosquitoes is more important than anything else. Having it successfully keep away the mosquitoes 85-90% of the time, is also ok with me. I seem to attract more of them than others, unfortunately.People wanting something more effective may want to stick with DEET products, and just take the chance of the longterm negative impact on their health.Yes, I would recommend this and have already made additional purchases of the product.
