Very good question. They advertise that it is " sodium-chloride free shampoo", so I investigated the difference between Sodium chloride free versus sulfate free. Here is what I found: After a Brazilian Treatment, your shampoo or conditioner shouldn't have sodium-chloride, this is true. But it should also be sulfate and sulfide free. Despite what they advertise you will not find any of these shampoo or conditioner in drugstores, they must be salon provided professional products. And even then make sure you read the label before you buy it. This shampoo does not claim to be sulfate-free. Should you use it? Up to you... I did not use it on my hair after my Brazilian Blowout.

Is this sulfate free?

Yes, and it is the absolute best product for smoothing my frizzy hair without making it flat. I get the actual Pure Brazilian treatment every 6-8 months to refresh the overall results. I take it to my hair salon to use instead of theirs and they love it too.

Don't say nothing about gluten. There is a lot of ingredients. The gluten doesn't appear.
