Wilton Gold Fanci-Foil Wrap

The use of the word 'foil' gave me the misconception that this was product was very similar to the food foil purchased in store but was gold instead. I purchased it to wrap wedding cake but found we had to use cling film first. I would describe this product as pliable gold paper.

Apart from the expensive price it is perfect for the job required. Would have given a 5 star if not for the price.

After searching around for gold, I was happy to have found it here!A lot of places don't seem to carry it and it's also reasonably priced as well.Does exactly what you need it to do when you're making your own custom cake boards.Nice and sturdy, covers well.Lasts a long time too!

This is exactly what I was looking for to wrap home made chocolate bars with! Be aware that this foil is paper lined which is intended for wrapping.

Not foil, more like thick wrapping paper. Looked very nice on the cake board and was easy to use, but as soon as it got frosting on it the gold color started to transfer to EVERYTHING that bumped it and left the foil flat yellow where it rubbed off.

Good qualityBought for special quick wrapping paperDoes not fold quite like foil... my expectation was that this was foil but instead it is a paper lined foil.It does sorta take the shape of whatever you're wrapping but I found that I still needed tape (that kinda defeated the purpose of me buying it). It is good quality however was not what I was looking for.

It wasn't clear that this is actually not gold foil, which is why I ordered it - the name of foil wrap is misleading I think. It's actually gold paper which can be used to wrap foods/cake boards or something similar. I bought it with the intention of using it to put in the oven, but ended up using it as expensive gift wrap!

Always use Wilton to cover my cake boards. They never disappoint.

Very pretty, but very poor quality. The metallic finish comes off very easily, even with a crease/fold.

If you need gold aluminum foil to create say a gold nugget (surrounding a beach ball), this is the perfect product. Shipping was fast and the product was exactly what it said it would be.

The foil wrap worked good for the project for which it was intended. The only issue was the fact that there was embossing on the foil and I wanted smooth. That could have been my fault, I couldn't tell from the picture and didn't notice it in the description.
