Customer service was below expectation because despite being advertised as In Stock, took quite some time before dispatch - not expected with Amazon Prime and quite disappointing.When arrived product itself is good. Initially felt a little odd - similar to putting on surfing 'socks'/wet boots, but when in my Altberg boots, feel very comfortable.This was my first pair of waterproof socks. I have since worn a pair from another well known 'pinniped' brand and they have a similar feel as a result of the similar waterproof membrane. Both pairs are comfortable on but the Otter socks are a little snugger fit (for me) and thus my preference so far. I also prefer the more fun "camo" pattern.Only 4 stars for durability as only worn for about a month (4-5miles a day dog walking) so too early to comment really. No sign of wear at present. Importantly also dry feet despite recent weather and increased/returned river levels.Hand wash less convenient than machine wash for other brand, but not a real issue.Likely to purchase another pair of Otter rather than other brand.

These socks appear well made and feel nice to wear whilst running. Difficult to judge waterproofness. I don't think any sock really is totally waterproof but these will definitely help keep your feet dryer than regular socks and they are nicely cushioned

This is my second pair of Otter socks. Still have my first my pair, they seem indestructible. I wear them summer and winter, without a doubt the most comfortable socks for hiking. Won’t hike in any other socks now. Get 2 pairs so you always have a clean pair ready to use.

Tested out running in the rain through lots of water. Trainers soaked feet remained dry and warm. Fully recommended.

I'm a professional dog walker and these socks are excellent. However, if I buy again will will buy a small. I'm a female size 6 and they gather at my toes in my boots which is my only downside to these socks. I bought a medium based on the size guide but had I known the true fit for women, I'd have gone a size smaller for comfort. Otherwise, excellent product. Game changer!

Very durable and comfortable socks

I’ve never bought, or worn waterproof socks before and when I put them on for the first time, they felt a little odd. The only way I can describe it, is sort of like putting on a comfortable wetsuit for your feet.I bought these for mountain biking, and the occasional hike up said mountains, however I had a little test with something different today - pressure washing the patio!As you can see from the photos, my shoes were soaked through, and covered in mud - my feet however - bone dry! So much so I forgot the outside of the sock was wet and proceeded to walk straight through the house leaving a trail of footprints which my wife wasn’t too happy about - especially when I told her it couldn’t have been me as my feet feel dry!!I’m a U.K. 9 so got the corresponding sized sock, however as it spans a rather large ish range and UK 9 being towards the bottom most sized in that bracket, they are a tad big for me, although it’s not a huge issue and I didn’t really notice other than when taking the images for this review. Although if I were to get another pair I’d probably size down to the medium. Although - this slightly larger sock size gives you ample opportunity to wear another set of socks underneath these.Longevity has yet to be tested, and I’m hoping the other reviews are wrong, although I will report back if there are any issues.Overall, so far a good pair of socks. The waterproof-ness has been great (so much so I tried them on in an inflatable pool and my feet were bone dry - very weird knowing you are standing in a pool of water and your feet being bone dry!), and they’ve been very comfy - especially whilst spending the entire day on my feet pressure washing a rather large patio. The reason I’ve knocked a star off is due to the slight sizing issue, and if I were to buy again I’d probably size down.
