Great addition to any home security system
We recently moved into a new rental property with a 10+ year old burglar alarm system which to be frank is very bad quality but being a rental property we cannot upgrade it as we are only here temporary.I searched online for additional security products to install in our upstairs rooms as the alarm system only has sensors downstairs and found this simple, cost effective little device by AIIAT that can be installed on any door or window, top or bottom and then is connected to wifi from your home and then to an APP that is easily downloaded onto your phone.It comes in 2 pieces along with double sided tape or screws to fix it to the door.Very simple to install and surprisingly very good for the money.It also comes with pre-installed batteries with a pull tab to connect them once ready to use so no going searching for batteries! (See image above)It took me about 15 minutes to install this and set the APP up with the wifi which then send you an alert once the door is opened and the 2 pieces are separated from each other.**It works well providing you are within a decent wifi range of your router**Overall I'm very happy with this and will give me the added feeling of security in home when we are out.

Works as described, simple to set up with the smart life app. I note that some had difficulties. I guess you have to make sure they the device you are using to set it up is connected to a 2.4ghz network as recommended. Fast response too

Only works on 2.4 ghz cannot connect to new phones.
The product was a neat piece of kit but as it only works on the 2.4ghz band,I could not connect it to my smart phone. The phone I believe only works on the 5ghz band, but there is no way of finding this out and I have tried all ways.. I believe that I am fairly tech savvy but I failed miserably.

Couldn’t get it to connect to anything
Had high hopes for this but unfortunately just could not get it to connect to anything. I’ve got lots of other smart devices - Nest smoke alarms, smart plugs, smart light bulbs etc., so it’s not exactly the first device I’ve tried to connect. Didn’t help that the instructions with it didn’t match what the App said. Had to return it.

Very easy to setup and works like a charm.
Very simple to setup. Have configured it to alert me when the door is opened and closed. Also have it configured to trigger different events depending on what time of day the door opens and whether I am home or not.

Neat and easy install
Works a dream. Used on my garage door smartlife app instantly knows when it has been triggered. Ifttt takes a while to notify
