Salcar Electronic USB Rechargeable Windproof Lighter

This is a wonderful product! Nice and heavy duty and not like some of the junky lighters out there. I love it so much I ordered another one as a gift. **Update- this lighter lasts for only about 6 months before it has to be replaced**

The media could not be loaded. Very nice windproof usb rechargeable lighter. The usb cord is EXTREMELY short so I have to knock a star off for that. Nice heavy weight lighter instead of cheap tin. Lasts for roughly 2 packs of cigarettes before needing a recharge. Recharges very quickly though ( about 2hrs ) so it's not much of an issue. I've flipped my thumb into the plasma arcs a couple of times while flipping it open and zapped myself LOL.. Stings a bit but not overly painful. Case and inner packaging is fantastic. This is NOT a cheaply made piece of junk.

The media could not be loaded. I think it's a cool product and if it's only for lighting cigarettes I'd give it a solid 4 stars. I went with the circular spiral design. My rating is for two reasons..1: I checked and it seems after a full charge I only got about 36 or 37 uses out of it before it needed to be charged again.2: It's not very strong/hot and other than cigarettes or lighting something like tissue or thin pieces of paper, it can't light much else. In addition, the 8 second limit is fine I'm sure for a cigarette but anything else and that's where the weak amount of heat output isn't strong enough for any other use.In my video I just show that you can put your finger very close without getting burned - its hot but not "butane lighter" hot. I'd say on a scale of 1-10 it's about a 3 1/2 in terms of heat.

Arc is a little small, but works fine.

Very simple to use (just shake it after open lid). Only warning is there. Do not touch the electronic to any metal that electronic can through. It will shock you!

This Salcar USB Rechargeable Windproof Dual Arc Lighter Windproof light is an amazing little device. It basically works by shaking it a little to activate its electrical current and a tiny little electrical volt lights up allowing you to put a cigarette or something else inside of it to light it on fire..I really like this technology and think its superior in many ways to other lighters like butane or disposable ones.. First of all butane lighters are a big pain in the but to recharge and you don't really ever know if you've fully filled your butane light and its smelly and expensive to keep buying new cans of butane.. Disposable lighters are bad for the environment and they are expensive to keep buying them.I think its best to just buy a rechargeable electric lighter and then anytime you need it recharged you simply plug it into the outlet in your home to recharge it instead of throwing it out like disposable lighters..This lighter is also wind proof which is pretty cool for us that spend alot of times outdoors like hikers and campers!

Great little flame-free lighter! Sturdy construction and good charge. Has a dual arc that turns on when you shake the lighter, which is a nice feature when you want to activate it in one hand. Doesn't quite last the 300 uses that is advertised but will last long enough on one charge that it usually isn't too much an issue. Perfect for small things; lighting denser objects is tough.Pros:- Flame-free, windproof arcs.- Easy shake activation- Quick chargingCons:- May not last 300 uses before charging (closer to 100)- Arc isn't strong enough to light denser objects (a sheet of paper is fine, anything more and it fizzles out)

Very nice but doesn't hold a charge for all that long

Works really well but the battery lasts only a few hours and has vary vary strict charging instructions don't use unless you have charged it to full once the fully charged light comes on unplug it do not allow it to charge for any extended periods or it will cause damage to the lighter. So it works amazingly but the charging instructions are annoying it usually only takes about an hour to charge so I just set a timer on my phone.Also I dont know how to clean the element I'm afraid of damaging it if I try to scrub the nicotine off my son says the lighter stinks when he opens it because it caked on but when its closed you don't smell it at all.Update the lighter started getting worse and worse on charge till it only lasted a few lights before I had to charge until today where it decided it was done working at all I gave it as a Christmas gift and today is Feb 1st so it lasted no where near as long as a standard lighter would.

Dead after two months....
