Umpqua Fly Fishing Rivergrip Hemostat Forcep

I bought the red Berkeley forceps and used them for about 6 months. They couldn’t pinch a barb and struggled to get any real leverage on a hook. These on the other hand are a night and day difference. A high quality tool

Heavy-duty. Appear they will last. Problem I have is while I am using them, they constantly lock closed and I have to manipulate them to open again. Frustrating when on a river trying to use them.

These work great. You must trim the material that bridges the handle. Use an exacto knife or other precision cutting device. Once liberated these work well for my use--small electronic components.

The look and quality is fine, but the small thumb hole makes it a hassled to remove these from your hand while holding a fish in the other hand.

Awesome hemostats. I use these for everything from arranging flys to pulling flys out of fish. The rubber grip makes the feel 10 out of 10

Nice, solid forceps for removing hooks. Would be 5-stars if the tip was grooved rather than flat. Hard to get a good grip without any texture.

Thumb hole is a bit small for large hands

Great for a bass fisherman, strong pliers. Does the job
