Excellent Suitcase
This might be the best suitcase I've owned. It's been through several flights and shows no damage. The TSA locks work well and it's very easy to roll around.

Great Luggage!
Been using this for years. I prefer heard-side luggage, and especially appreciate the expandability here. I have the carryon & medium checked bag, planning on the large checked bag for a big trip.Don’t use the power port in the carry-on as much as I’d expected.PROsVery rugged and sturdy. Wheels very smooth and strong. Glides like butter through airports & ship gangways.Packs and organizes well.Sturdy zippers pulls easily lock in the tsa hardware, keeping them from snagging or loosening.Easy id on the carousel (GOLD!)CONsNo outside pockets for electronics.Surface not good for travel stickers. 🙁

Durable luggage
My wife and I have a larger set of luggage from this company and have used them several times flying to Alaska and Texas and hold up well through TSA as well as other driving trips. This suitcase was needed because the trip wasn't a need for the larger suitcase and a backpack was to small. So this fills the spot were the 27" is to large and like my wife's 19" or a backpack would be to small.

Luggage leaked; SwissGear does not reply
We purchased two Model 7272 Hardside SwissGear Suitcases through Amazon in January 2025. We used them the first time at the start of March checking them into a trusted major airline for a flight to Europe. When we opened both suitcases on arrival at our hotel, the clothes in both suitcases were wet. This has never happened with luggage of any quality, let alone the quality we expected from investing in SwissGear.SwissGear provided an online warranty claim form although we asked for a refund. SwissGear is fast to respond to the claim form, asking for more documentation until you have sent everything SwissGear needs. Then, we never heard from SwissGear again. SwissGear never replied to follow-up emails. Every phone call to SwissGear was not returned. We are disappointed and angry.

Great quality looks good
Really good quality, as I expect from Swiss Gear. Zipper compartments are well thought out and I had plenty of room for warm clothes and my full size tempurpedic pillow I always take with me. I used a set of packing cubes too, just regular ones not vacuum bags. The only thing that was not clear about the charge cable; you need to use your own mini power supply. There’s a clever internal pocket and a rubber sealed grommet to run the usb cable built in. I have a power pack about the size of my phone. It adds a few ounces and slips in the pocket they designed for this purpose. A good hard sided case - I’d recommend! I’d buy the bigger one too!

Good case, but arrived dirty and used
I have both the carry-on version and the 24" checked version. After a lifetime of mis-matched luggage it was time to have a nice set! I like that these have the 8 wheels instead of just the 4 for durability. I like the built in TSA lock. I also like the interior storage that comes built-in with these cases; which is helpful if you're moving from location to location frequently during a vacation. I expect that the carry-on version will last a very long time, but I'm not sure about the checked one. There is no grab handle for the base and the case itself isn't light. You won't want to overload the 24"+ sizes or it's going to get damaged. My main complaint is that the case arrived filthy from sitting in a dirty warehouse. It also arrived slightly "used" from someone who chose to return it. People, if you are going to return an item, put it back the way you received it. Someone else is likely going to get your "used" item in the condition you returned it. Failure to do so means that the karma gods are going to make the wheels fall off you luggage from henceforth.

Pretty awesome
Definitely its a show stopper. Pretty and durable yet completely functional on thw inside with various compartments that make sense.I was worried that it would not be thw same quality. But its legit quality swiss gear and an investment i reccomended. The colors in the store are limited and ao yours will stamd out in a good way. The added bonus was how the rose gold accents are quality and add a luxury to this already high end brand. I havent fully figured out the technology of using the usb port but i got it to work once, but i am unsure how to keep it charged? So one down fall. Overall I am happy with this purchase. As the vendor appears to be selling the real deal swiss gear and its clearly of quality and not a knock off. Also super light weight and passed all the little box at airport fit me testers as my last swiss gear duffle did not pass all the airport fit me testers. This one carryonw approved no hold ups, seems a for sure bet!

Perfect carry-on luggage in every way!
This is, by far, the best piece of luggage I have ever owned. I bought this hard sided SwissGear carry-on for a trip to Scotland. It held up really well for the entire trip on the plane as well as packed tightly in the van. We flew on a massive Delta plane as well as a tiny KLM plane and the carry-on was the perfect fit for both. It's really light weight and it has sturdy hardware. The spinner wheels are amazing and are great from running between gates and getting through customs. I fit my entire weeks worth of clothing inside it. I like that the separator has mesh pockets. It was a great place to put my phone charger toiletries and travel adapters. Definitely the best hard sided suitcase I have ever owned!
