Loving this floss - much more effective
I was originally looking to get a floss without PFAS/PFAS like materials, then read about the concern with microplastics so then decided to make a complete switch by going with the silk. But what surprised me is that this floss is MUCH more effective at cleaning my teeth compared to the more easy glide flosses. I love the glass dispenser. I do have two spots in my mouth where the floss will fray and occasionally tear, but that is something I’m willing to put up with. I actually am flossing more now because the flossing process is actually more pleasant. I like that I’m now throwing away plastic dispensers nor plastic floss. Very pleased.

biodegradable, cute as a button, and works even for people with tight teeth
I use tape floss usually because most string floss breaks in my teeth or gets stuck and I can't get it out. I decided to try this because I'm tired of all the plastic! I want to find alternatives to all the trash we're putting in the landfill. The glass bottle is adorable. The box it comes in is also biodegradable and I put it straight into the compost! Yay!I've used the floss for a couple of nights now and because it's silk, it can break if you don't use it properly. The way I make sure it doesn't break on me is by moving along the string every couple of teeth so I'm not using the same spot on the floss. This makes it so you're way less likely to get a breakage.I have a number of teeth that are pretty tight, thus why I've used the tape floss for so long. I didn't have too much trouble with this on my tight teeth and the bonus is this floss gets way more out from between your teeth than the tape floss does!I'm very happy with this floss. All floss can break and fray if you're sawing away in the same spot with your teeth! Just vary the spot on the string as you floss and you'll be good. In addition, you'll have a cute little glass bottle that you can refill and no more plastic in the landfill!

Stringy Mess and Unreliable Dispenser
The dispenser falls apart. And it is impossible to prevent rolls of floss from becoming tangled and hence unusable. The floss also breaks too easily. My spare rolls became such a stringy, tangled mess that I discarded them without using them.

Great floss with no chemicals
Bought this due to some recent info on PFAS chemicals in glide floss and other satin like flosses. Very upset that info was not readily available until now. This is very expensive floss and you do not get a lot. The floss grabs plaque like glue! If you have tight contacts this is not for you, it will be a struggle to get in between your teeth and it will break. Overall love it and feel 100% better that I’m using a chemical free floss.

Preferable to Regular Floss
My partner and I tried this floss in the hopes of becoming more environmentally friendly. Luckily, it's not just a case of toleration: we both prefer this to regular floss! I'd like to mention a few unusual features that we reacted to:1. The mint taste is not strong, like with commercial floss. As a fan of minty floss, I initially thought this would be a negative. Instead, it's feels like switching to real sugar after being used to corn syrup. I don't really notice a taste until I'm done flossing, at which point my mouth feels cleaner and lightly mint-flavored.2. The silk strand is more delicate. My partner had trouble with it breaking early on, but he adjusted with no problem. I appreciate having a check on how aggressive I get with flossing, and my gums have been less sensitive since switching floss type.3. The strand is a little thicker, and gently textured. This might be down to preference and teeth spacing, but I think it feels great! Like it's being more effective at cleaning, while not slipping too far into crevices and irritating the gums. If "cutting" your gums with floss has been an issue, definitely give this a try.If those features don't put you off, give it a shot! The need to shift away from plastic use is no joke, and this floss assuages just a bit of the creeping existential dread that is climate change.

A good floss that needs a tougher container
It's a relatively thick floss which my hygienist and I think cleans more effectively for me than regular floss, despite my closely spaced teeth. However, the thin glass container, while attractive, seems too fragile for the bathroom environment, which is full of hard surfaces, and one of the last places you want to have broken glass.

Breaks and shreds between my teeth
I love the idea of a cleaner, durable and biodegradable dental floss with no PFOS chemicals. This one failed me, I have tight contacts between my teeth and the first use resulted in broken floss a few times, then a restart with a new piece long enough and in the end had two pieces stuck between my teeth when I was “done.” Ouch! I didn’t get those out until the next morning using my old tried and true but maybe contaminated with PFOS floss. It might work for those without tight teeth, but was a definite fail for me.Cute little glass bottle.

I plan to keep using this floss.
I am happy with this product. The floss is thicker and more textured than the "ribbon" style of floss I'm more familiar with. It can fray and break when trying to get in between tight gaps. I think that's because it doesn't use teflon or other PTFE non-stick coatings. The actual floss feels durable, it's easy to grip, and the mint flavor isn't overwhelming. I also like the container.
