I use tape floss usually because most string floss breaks in my teeth or gets stuck and I can't get it out. I decided to try this because I'm tired of all the plastic! I want to find alternatives to all the trash we're putting in the landfill.The glass bottle is adorable. The box it comes in is also biodegradable and I put it straight into the compost! Yay!I've used the floss for a couple of nights now and because it's silk, it can break if you don't use it properly. The way I make sure it doesn't break on me is by moving along the string every couple of teeth so I'm not using the same spot on the floss. This makes it so you're way less likely to get a breakage.I have a number of teeth that are pretty tight, thus why I've used the tape floss for so long. I didn't have too much trouble with this on my tight teeth and the bonus is this floss gets way more out from between your teeth than the tape floss does!I'm very happy with this floss. All floss can break and fray if you're sawing away in the same spot with your teeth! Just vary the spot on the string as you floss and you'll be good. In addition, you'll have a cute little glass bottle that you can refill and no more plastic in the landfill!

It works great. Was a little skeptical with some of the reviews. But When I was flossing, it didn't break at all and I used the same amount of strength when pulling and pushing and such as I would have with regular floss. I do think that this floss might be a little thicker than regular floss so you might want to gently shimmey it up rather than pushing it up to get your gums used to it.It did kinda break a little when I was pulling it out of the container to cut but I think that was mostly human error as I didn't do it at a great angle. I will say that the packaging from the brand itself is good, but Amazon put it in a rather large plastic packaging for a box the size of my pinky finger. That was kind of irritating. But the floss itself is good. I would recommend.

Bought this due to some recent info on PFAS chemicals in glide floss and other satin like flosses. Very upset that info was not readily available until now. This is very expensive floss and you do not get a lot. The floss grabs plaque like glue! If you have tight contacts this is not for you, it will be a struggle to get in between your teeth and it will break. Overall love it and feel 100% better that I’m using a chemical free floss.

After a solid 2 months of use, this floss is garbage. It shreds between teeth and falls apart. I hate to say it because here is a dental floss that is actually nontoxic, yet it comes apart even between easy-to-reach teeth. The glass jar and presentation is pretty, but if you have even the smallest of contact between your teeth (and I have invested plenty of good money into my smile) then keep looking elsewhere. If there is snake oil, then this is snake floss.

The floss is ok but is pretty thin and breaks easily, especially if you have tight teeth. I used to use glide but then switched over because of the Pfas. This brand seemed to be highly recommended and it works, yes, but constantly breaks.

I love the idea of a cleaner, durable and biodegradable dental floss with no PFOS chemicals.This one failed me, I have tight contacts between my teeth and the first use resulted in broken floss a few times, then a restart with a new piece long enough and in the end had two pieces stuck between my teeth when I was “done.” Ouch! I didn’t get those out until the next morning using my old tried and true but maybe contaminated with PFOS floss.It might work for those without tight teeth, but was a definite fail for me.Cute little glass bottle.

Works just as well as the standard floss, but it's NOT plastic!! Win, win!
