MetaltechScaffolding Platform, Bakers Scaffold Ladder Roofing Equipment, 6 ft

My brother-in-law strongly recommended this platform as my husband and I remodel our basement. It is fantastic! It was easy to assemble, the wheels are heavy duty and lock for stability. We are able to work on the ceiling and walls with a feeling of safety and stability. This equipment is well-built and will probably last forever. We are very happy with this purchase.

I initially bought this for an unusual purpose, to move my stacked dryer off of my washer so I could do a repair. This worked great for that, I was able to put it together in the space level with the bottom of my dryer, slide the dryer on the scaffolding and roll it into another room while I repaired the washer. This way I could move the dryer and put it back by myself. I estimated the cost of hiring the movers twice and this was just a little bit more and I can now use it for other projects in my home. It comes apart without any trouble and 2 of the three parts can be stored outside, which I plan to do. Also it does feel stable and I like how many parts can be added to it.

very nice unit - designed very well. I'm 70 years old and I assembled it by myself in less than 15 minutes. Easy to move and adjust. Wish I bought this 10 years ago...

It’s no fun to clean the top of our camper with a ladder. This scaffolding was easy to put together, move around and very stable. I was able to put it together and take it apart with ease.

I have had it on a job for the last last 3 weeks for a 3-story with 10-foot ceilings. At 55, moving this between floors is easy. It is light enough for me. It is a little large for non-open floor plans, you may want a smaller unit to go in between bedrooms, halls, etc. Great for open floor plans.The reason why I gave it four stars is because the shipping company just dropped it off at the beginning of my driveway, damaged. I bent back the damage but I had to unpackage the box, separate everything, and then haul it to my shop from the end of my driveway, why?Just venting against FedEx, no love, just hate. They always screw my delivery. Ship UPS Please.The Baker is a great tool, foyers I am looking forward to stacking these. However, the baker I received has a solid platform. So have to order my next one somewhere else, I want a passthrough on those.

I have used the scaffold for a few weeks now. I was impressed with how quickly it was delivered, easily assembled in just a few minutes and put it right to work. I saw other reviews complaining that it was wobbly and disagree. So long as you have it on solid footing it hasn't been an issue. I place a piece of wood under the wheels to keep it level when on an incline, the grass, etc. Climbing over the top hasn't been an issue, no tipping or other problems, but I only weigh 165 lbs. too. I have been using it to repair gutters, soffits and trim fascia in order to paint. Much faster and easier than ladder. It has already paid for itself with what I would have paid in rental fees.

Liked the scaffolding easy to set up and feels very sturdy. Delivery was ok, but must not of been handled with care. Box was pretty beat up .One rail that holds the platform was slightly bent. But It still works. Rolls great so it’s easy to move around

it works for my first year of my 6 foot bakers rack. I just wish it had the hatch if I wanted to go up so therefore, it will be the bottom piece of my scaffolding, but I highly recommend it. Well built I wouldn’t trade this particular scaffolding for anything it’s easy to assemble and very reliable but if you’re going more than one high, I highly recommend the outrigger and also the guard rails.
