DuraDizeby DuraCoat - Spray On Anodizing Replicator (Wine, 12 oz Aerosol Can)

Really happy with the results , sprayed the ginger on a shotgun shroud . Sprayed very easy, must spray duracoat stainless steel before as a base coat before spraying duradize. Wait about 15 minutes then spray duradize. No problems what so ever in hvlp gun. Will post more pictures as I do more projects. Think the color turned out great, seems easy to change the deepness of color depending on heaviness of coats. Just like any type of painting prep is the key.A++

You should have probably done some light wet sanding before the top coat and/or gone with a matte top coat.. You are aware that anodizing is typically done on very shiny buffed aluminum that ends up looking very shiny right? If youre looking for that type III anodized look you prob should have just gone with the reg duracoat with a satin top coat. This product is for those looking for that true glossy metal color that anodizing is. Don't give it a bad rating because you have poor judgement

The base coat of stainless steel went fin just like any other duracoat I have used before. The black duradize layer however mostly came out clear and when it did spray black it was way to shiny. nothing like the black anodized receiver shown on their site even 1 whole can did not do a single stripped AR lower receiver. Will stick to regular duracoat matte black for closest I can get to factory finish.
