I loved painting them and setting them around the house. However no birds felt the same. Took them down and recycled them.

Not sure if they’ll last outdoors. They seem like they’d fall apart. We will hang them outside, hopefully find some places to be out of direct rain. I’m no bird expert, so not sure if they are too small or not. But I do know birds around here nest in anything!! So we’ll see!

Brighten up your yard and have some fun with your family while painting these bird houses. I think they are ornamental and not functional, but I'm not sure how you'd spot the difference if you were a bird. After a few months the glue weakens, especially if it's rainy. We had the bottoms fall out of 3 of them, but thankfully no birds had ever taken up residence in them. So maybe they are ornamental. Either way, we had a lot of fun with them. Sorry birds we are terrible landlords!

This kit was great. Nice little houses for the kids to paint. Lots of paint and the little plastic holder to pour the paint in had enough for EVERY color so they had plenty. So much fun in a box. The paint washed right off of skin and because those little trays are so handy we had no spills. I can’t say if it comes off clothes because we had no problem keeping the paint on the houses. Great kit will definitely buy another one when we decide to make more houses. I may just order another to keep on hand for the granddaughter and her friends for just a really good activity.

Great craft idea for my toddler! I’m not sure they’re big or durable enough for real birds to live in... but my 3 year old had so much fun painting them! They come with a TON of paint and a whole bunch of paint brushes too! The paint is great quality for this project, not cheap or the kind where you have to do like 10 coats of it.

I ordered these as a "girls" event for my daughter and daughter in laws. We gathered for lunch and painted birdhouses. It was great, the birdhouses are nice and all the stuff was included.

Tons of colors and paintbrushes made this set. I also loved how each house was different. We loved them and had so much fun painting them all!
