Took off the light and replaced it with one of my own that fit, but I only got it for the mount. The given light is pretty good, not the strongest but it's not a problem! The mount is really nicely made and easy to fit on any helmet. Great all around!

Great flashlight, bright, lightweight and detachable

This is a good light to mount on helmets but it is not the strongest light. It’s powered by one AA battery which is probably why it’s not that strong. It is a good light overall though.

Really well made and intuitive flashlight design. Super easy to mount on any arc rail and the flashlight itself is able to be dismounted from the mount within seconds should you need it freehand. The construction is sturdy and thick enough to handle a couple falls though I feel like the mount has some weak spots like the pivoting mechanism which doesnt feel too sturdy. That being said, the mount DOES have a pivoting feature so you can adjust the light to whatever angle you want it to shine on from your helmet which I found super handy.As for the light itself, it is definitely bright enough for indoor/cqb use. I have not tested it outside so I cannot say how far it is able to project. The flashlight does have a focused beam mode and a floodlight mode that can be switched back and forth simply by moving the head of the light forward or backward, useful if you need focused light or just a lot of itAll in all, this is a fantastic tactical helmet light for all airsofters or cosplayers ESPECIALLY for the value you are paying for, it is absolutely a steal when comparing to other tactical lights. Military or LE may find use for it as well but I am neither so I'll let the professionals decide for themselves on this one.

Light is not bright, attachment is made from plastic and held on with velcro that does not support well when battery is added. does have different modes.

Great value, extremely small, great battery life off of one AA, and ungodly light, single button use, so it’s beyond simplistic, the sliding focus and the strobe is my favorite feature of the light, I did have to sand the screw down slightly (didn’t want my rails scratched) but great product

I read the reviews before purchasing this flashlight but when I got it what a disappointment!This is a cheap $3 small light with a horrible flimsy mount which would be appropriate as a surprise in a chocolate egg as a toy.The light is too wide so the AA battery is loose and, because it operates on a single battery, the light output is weak. The mount is made of a very soft plastic material and it rotates on its own. Theoretically, the screw holding together should make it tight but the softness of the plastic doesn't allow that.The lens is dirty or scratched inside as received.Absolutely not worth $20.
