OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Mat - Large,Silver

Have looked everywhere for quite some time to find a sink mat. Most were either poor quality, way too expensive, smelled horrible or had precut holes for the sink drain - none of which matched my sink. I am delighted with this OXO sink mat. Fits my sink perfectly. Elevated "feet" on the mat allows water to drain under the mat. Silicone - no odor. Durable material. Hot pots can go from stove to the sink mat with no problem. I was more than pleasantly pleased with this purchase.

I really like the color, it isn't really gray, it's more like an opalescent blue gray. very neutral color. Light in color ! I love the sturdiness yet it is very flexible. The slits are not wide enough for even tiny utensils to slip through. I have a single large cast iron sink from 1901 with a center drain, but I don't feel the need to cut out the hole for the drain, the mat lifts up great to remove the drain plug and screen. Yesterday I placed a hot sauce pan in the sink after draining pasta instead of compromising my old porcelain drain board. It was awesome, no marks, no rings, nothing. I love that this is silicone and hence multi purpose. Food stuck to my old mat and was a chore to keep clean. This mat rinses right off and nothing sticks. I had purchased another mat a year ago, paid over $20.00, hated the color, it was dark gray but was suppose to be an excellent mat. it floated to the top, left white rings on the mat just from dishes being washed and sitting on it in the water. Within 3 months it started to literally disintegrate so I was really sceptical about paying as much for this mat. it is high quality, would go with any decor. I do believe this is the last mat I will ever have to purchase and will replace down the road if needed. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

It's a strong sink mat for kitchen use. It lasted 5 years and could have gone much longer had it been periodically cleaned.

The media could not be loaded. Just perfect. You can rinse underneath easily but be careful to make sure you wash it every day. Because some kind of black mold grew on it and I can't get it off, it won't come off. I've tried bleach and everything it just is stuck on there. You don't see it because it's underneath

I feel like my sink says thank you every day. I could not find a mat that fit my older farmhouse double sink. The sink corners are much too rounded for the larger sizes and if I used smaller sizes, the coverage wasn't adequate. But this one could be easily trimmed to fit and I also cut out a circle for the drain, though not in one of the places they allotted for that. Even with the compromised strength the removal of the outer corners caused, the mat works well. It is easy to clean. As it is made of silicone, I imagine it would do well in a dishwasher, but I have never had one, so I am not the voice of experience. I flip it over and give it a quick spray each day or time I wash dishes (which could be multiple times depending on family, lol). Every few days or after particularly grungy water, I will squirt some Dawn on it and go over it with a brush on both sides. It is a quick and painless process and a small price to pay for the protection it affords.

This is very nice, somewhat pricey for sure, but nice thick quality, and little built in legs allowing air to get down underneath the mat, the reason I give 3 stars is the large mat is too large for my sink, and this is slightly too small, they need to slightly increase the size of this one to fully cover sink.
