This is a great product! This product is excellent for anything you wish to protect but be see like looking in a mirror. I loved using the mats over items like tables that are made of exotic woods. The mats are good for craft projects and even over recipes while cooking. The only issue is that the mats cannot be cleaned back to clear transparency if soiled with food. In so doing, a film is left, but if one does not mind then it is ok. Because the cost is affordable, just replace the mat with another.The Customer Service is excellent. They are very responsive and helpful--not like Microsoft or Norton's. I enjoyed working with the Customer Service for this product.

Quality and features as they are described on the advertisement, it really works for me with a sophisticated touch.

These are clear and a great weight. I use this as an option to paying for very expensive custom glass top covers. I even use the extra when I am working on art projects to protect the tables. This is a great value, easy to use and a definite "Yes" if I need to purchase again.

Fine or great for outdoor or indoor and easy for clean. Should be cheaper in price

I bought these for my granddaughters to use under their nail polish. They are sturdy but still flexible and work perfectly to keep the table clean from all their messy, crafts!

I really should have looked at the review photos more before purchasing. This is a very thin, clear, sheet, with rounded corners. It’s not going to stay in place like a silicone mat would have but I’m willing to give it a try. I just have a small feeling this is going to be to warp the second some thing warm is placed on it.

So transparent you don’t even know it’s there. I am able to see the entire tabletop on my end tables, which are a pretty color. These mats do not take away the look of the table surface because they are completely transparent, while protecting the surface from water rings and spills.

Edited: while I was washing dishes, I went to wash one of these. The hot water warped it immediately. I don't recommend these as dinner placemats. I'm going with silicone instead, even though they are translucent, not clear like these. I will still use these for my kids to draw and write on.I like to use fabric table cloths, so I bought these to protect my tablecloths from my kids' (and mine too, let's face it) messy eating. Pros: They are crystal clear, so don't stand out and you can see the table cloth perfectly through it. The ones I received are exactly 12 x 18 inches, so the description is correct. They are thick and sturdy. Cons: They look like they might scratch easily, and I'm not sure how heat resistant they are, since they are plastic, not silicone. Also, one of the photos make it look like they are pretty flexible, but they are not. They are difficult to bend, and you definitely could not roll them. Also, they are slick so they won't stay in place. I am going to keep them to try them out. If they don't work out for dinner placemats, then they will still be useful. I have been looking for something that my kids can use to make a harder surface for their papers when they draw or write at the dining table or desks. These will work great for that!
