Very nice!
This carried me through my undergraduate, giving me a second charger instead of one I have to move around all the time.Stood the test of time, worked very well, and highly recommend for those who want a second charger for their Dell.

Works fine but.....
I bought it as a back-up charger. Works fine but lost a star because charger does not turn off when unplugged from the Dell laptop. Original Dell charger does switch off when unplugged from laptop and doesn't require to be unplugged from outlet.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER EVERY FOUR MONTHS!!
ABSOLUTE PIECE OF CRAP. After four months of use, it's now just an ugly paperweight. I bought this charger in October. I thought that OEM would be the safest after reading all those self-serving warnings from Dell about after-market chargers. By February, it stopped working--only four months after purchase. I jumped through all the Tech Support hoops that were thrown my way, including updating the BIOS and then looking for the charger in the BIOS listing. BIOS still says that the charger is not connected, even though it was connected and its green LED illuminated. I tried the charger from my wife's Dell computer, and that one worked perfectly. This "Dell" charger is a piece of crap! And Amazon provides no return option despite the fact that Amazon knows this charger is problematic. The product listing now warns buyers that this product has been subject to lots of returns. Wish I had know that when I purchased this piece of crap. Shame on Amazon for not protecting its customers from such an obviously defective product and not pushing the consequences back to the supplier. I expected better from Amazon and also from Dell. I'll be going elsewhere for the next charger and any other chargers I ever need to purchase. And it appears that Dell no longer stands behind its products like they previously did. Sad!
