Exo TerraShort All Glass Terrarium, 18 by 18 by 12-Inch

These exo-terra cages are great. They are really easy to set up and clean. and the front-opening design makes it so much easier to interact with your animals. The latch secures the doors really well when they are closed so there is no risk of the animal inside accidentally popping it open and escaping.

Amazing tank! I love the design, it has holes in the back for easy wiring which has been a life saver.My only issue with this tank is that it is hard to clean. The doors are above a section of the glass so that section is a pain to clean, plus you wanna make sure to scrub everything to keep your critter healthy and getting between the cracks is rough.I pulled out the foam background, it takes up space and is useless for some critters. I just male my own wallpaper for them.It surprisingly help tempuratur and humidity well, especially if you place aluminium or a towel (change both frequently) over half of the top.The screen top is also easy access from above, while the doors make for a comfortable accessible area to allow your critter to come out on their own or feed without bumping in glass.This is good for a baby ball python under a year old. Plenty of room to roam around and stretch out but also good for adding decoration and stimuli to insure he felt safe and welcome to come out.I bought a heat lamp with nocturnal bulb for night time with a lamp holder to keep it suspended and not too close to burn him. As balls do I hardly saw him during the day unless he was hungry and at night he enjoyed basking under the light on a favored stick.The tank also has feet! Which is great for keeping a UTH under it!! The UTH stuck very well to the tank and I was happy that wires were not being choked by the tank due to the feet.This tank house my ball, a meduim half log, a broken cork log set up for climbing and rubbing, a meduim stick, a warm hise box, moss for when he needed to shed, water dish and greenery for hiding.Was very happy with tjis tank!

Product has good quality glass. So good when I got it, opened the box, and started to pull the tank out, my hand was cut by the broken glass. The exterior box was torn up, being labeled “D” (damaged or maybe for shipping purposes) and obviously the handler or maybe even the company broke the glass on the right side. There were three fragile stickers, so either the handler or/and the company are illiterate or don’t care much about the customer. In the end, it looked like a good product, but the handling/logistics part of the product is awful. Be careful when opening if you get this product.

This is an amazing tank and is perfect for leopard geckos. It’s pretty easy to clean and the door feature makes handling and feeding my gecko really easy. The ONLY ISSUE I experienced was with the foam backdrop. When my leopard gecko was small, he somehow climbed up the in-tank FOAM BACKDROP and fell behind it. It was really difficult to find him but luckily I did and he was ok. I RECOMMEND removing the backdrop and placing/taping it to to the outside of the back wall. Doing this still makes the tank look nice from the inside, prevents injuries and also creates more space for your lizard to roam. I rate this terrarium 10/10 for all leopard gecko owners and especially for new gecko owners.

This is a great tank, if you get it intact. Ordering any tank online is a gamble, if you want one then I'd recommend going to a physical store. I got this refunded with no hassle, though.

I must admit, I was initially hesitant about purchasing a glass aquarium through the mail. I couldn't find this size locally (the short 18x18 that is) so decided to go for it. The price was very reasonable compared to local pet stores for similar tanks, which is pretty impressive considering they also had to ship it. I would definitely order from this supplier again.About the terrarium: it's a great size for a smaller/male ball python, PERFECT for a leopard gecko or two, and really just great for many small terrestrial reptiles or turtles (although water could only be about 3" deep in the bottom. I've been using aquariums for years due to their cost, but this terrarium is great. I love how it's a bit elevated to fit an under tank heater under it (I recommend Fluker's brand hooked up to a thermostat). It has been maintaining temperature very well, although I needed to cover part of the screen lid to get an ambient temperature of 80F for my ball python with both a ceramic heat emitter and a heat mat.The screen lid locks on with four separate locks and there are slots in the back for any cords (and these slots can be closed). The lock on the front is very effective and I haven't had any problems with it. I did paint three sides of this terrarium black to keep my snake happy, and it looks gorgeous. I will definitely buy another Exo Terra terrarium the next time I want a display tank for my animals.The only bad thing about this tank is the background... while some commercially available backgrounds look realistic and gorgeous , this one pretty much looked like styrofoam (which it is).

I was concerned about possible shipping damage but it was packed well and arrived undamaged. It was a packed in a box with several layers of bubble wrap that was packed inside of a larger box. Constructed well and the latch keeps the front opening doors securely closed. Overall it's a nice enclosure and for me it's the perfect size for some of my larger species of terrestrial tarantulas.

Came with a crack that was ugly but works fine for my sand substrate. Don’t know if it would prevent leaking if I were to put water in it but I don’t plan on doing that. The lock on the front glass doors works well and I like how it’s raised up so I can attach a heat pad underneath and the cord not be damaged. Overall a good purchase. Could’ve been better without the one crack but to be honest it was probably from shipping as the box was pretty beat up when I got it. Actually kind of impressive not more was broken. The tank came in a box cushioned inside another box. I do wish it had something on top to clamp a lamp to.
