Product Care Instructions | To maintain and protect your hardwood furniture, we recommend using our Outdoor Interiors Refined Linseed Oil at least twice in the spring & summer. All new furniture should be oiled before use. The number of applications varies depending on direct sunlight, temperature, and dry climate versus more humid regions. Your furniture will provide tell-tale signs along the way, so “Please Oil” accordingly. CAUTION: Dispose of oil-soaked rags after use. |

IF YOU LIKE IT, 'BUY IT".
I fell for this table set when I saw it and after watching the Outdoor Interiors video about it. I just couldn't afford the $1000+ price tag so I placed it on my "save for later" list. Finally it came on sale for just under $900. It was packaged securely, nothing moved around or knocked in the box. The color was a medium-oak and it matches other unrelated eucalyptus furniture I bought. I set it up. The table can be opened and closed by one person, you just have to stretch your arms as far to the two ends as you can and raise the ends a little like the instructions say to get the table to turn. I did hear the "click" signaling the table is locked in place. There is also a latch under the table for additional locking security when the table is open. The folding chairs opened and closed without a single squeak and the cushions surprised me. They covered the entire chair seat perfectly and although not that thick, they are very good. I could not feel the chair through them and they are comfortable. The chairs are strong, I weigh over 200 lbs. and not a squeak to be heard. They store perfectly under the table but you may want to store the cushions elsewhere. The chairs won't fold all the way with the cushions on them and you cannot fit them all under the table with the chairs without squishing some of them. The set looked a little dull when I took it out of the box and I did not know which type or brand of linseed oil to wipe it down with; I don't want it to turn that weathered gray color. I phoned Outdoor Interiors. They were extremely helpful and sold me some of their linseed oil. I was told the dull look of the table is a "no worry"; that I have to remember that from manufacturing to actually being bought and opened, the table set has been sitting in its packaging; just wipe it down with the linseed oil and let it dry. I have not done this yet because I am not ready to use the set. I put the set back in its box for now. The wheels work perfectly. In my opinion the set is worth the $1000+ price tag but I am so-o-o glad I caught it on sale.

Great Quality
Beautiful and great quality. Exactly what we were looking for!

Good quality but with some points worth noting
The way it all stows away is very clever. The quality is pretty good. Not super high end, but for the price it's good enough. The main thing I didn't like is that the back rests kind of dig into the center of your back a little. The seat bottoms with the cushions are very comfortable, just not the backs. Also keep in mind that these chairs can only hold 200lbs. So if you have some heavy friends like I do, you will have to bring out different chairs for them which can be a little embarrassing. They recommend oiling the wood twice a year which is a hassle. I would recommend something like Sikkens Cetol which holds up to the elements much better than linseed oil (it's designed for boats) and therefore would only need to be applied every few years or so.

Quality and design
I had pretty bad experience purchasing patio dinning set from Amazon because the advertised pictures always look different from what you actually got. I fell for the trap for the first time when I bought a cast aluminum set only to realize that the table is too small to be used by 6 people. Good thing is that I was able to return it without a hitch.I actually already own some furniture from outdoor interiors that I bought from a different online seller. I was very pleased with the quality and they have stood on my bedroom patio for almost a year without any issue. So I had lots of confidence with this dinning set offered by them before pulling the trigger. One thing that made me really happy when I received the set is that there is no assembly required other than putting cushions on the chairs. The table is also properly sized for 6 people. The table mechanism is pretty smart, although two people is required to open and close the table. The set seems to be come pre-oiled, I can tell this because there are oil stains on the cardboard buffers attached to the furniture. Still, have some boiled linseed oil ready would be a good idea. The table can act as an umbrella stand. Now I just need to find one to put on it.

Badly damaged in transit
This is a tough one: the set looks like it could be really lovely, and construction quality seems quite good, however it arrived terribly packaged, and badly damaged: so bad that we refused delivery on the spot. Aside from the disappointment, it is a little concerning how easily ripped off the hinges were, and how bendy the top was (even acknowledging that they had clearly taken some big hits).

Great Patio Set!
I just received this set and so far am very pleased with the appearance and functionality. The set is very well made and finished nicely with a slight stain. The color is a medium wood-tone. The cushions, unlike the photo, are actually closer to tan than cream. While I would have preferred the cream, this color is okay and the fabric seems good for outdoor use. The chairs are very comfortable and offer ample leg room under the table at all locations. One question I had before ordering that was not answered by others is what are the dimensions of the table set when folded. They are 29'h x25"w X41"l. With the chairs not stored below, the table is very easy to maneuver through a door in the folded position. We were able to move the folded table through a garage service door for storage and then stow away the chairs. Very slick if you are fortunate to have storage space in a garage or shed.

Don't waste your money
I don't know what kind boxwood this stuff is made out of. It is either Mirante or Eucalyptus. Every chair except for one has broken, and I only weigh 171lbs and my wife is 60lbs lighter than me.
