Good movie

From the director of Die Another Day and the first XXX comes the sequel XXX State of the Union. The movie had more action than the first one did. Ice Cube played the new XXX who has to stop a threat on the U.S. Government itself. Samuel L. Jackson returns recruiting Ice Cube's character to help him to stop this new threat. There are plenty of surprises and twists in this movie the good guys aren't always good. Things are also not as they seem at first. Lots of explosion, running things down and also the first ever jacking of a tank. If wanting something with action, guns, things blowing up and want to see Samuel L. Jackson, Ice Cube and Scott Freedom then this movie is for you. Being Double crossed comes a lot in this movie it makes it better because you do not know who to trust. I skipped this when it first came out because it didn't have Xander in it.But when I saw the third film I found that I was missing a lot of background. Somehow, "xxx" became an organizational name.So I rented this one. It didn't provide the background, but it turned out to be a very good sequel, in its own way perhaps as good as the original.Of course, it has to be kept in mind that it is a very good /action film/. If you are looking for a serious drama, look elsewhere.But if you are looking for an action film, this one'll do ya.It also killed Xander off. I think that is probably the best way to look at it: Xander is dead, move on to the next guy.

I just did a double triple X. First the 2017 earlier today and now the 2005. They both have great action and violence. With State Of The Union I saw a train and a car go over 200 MPH. That is a great pursuit. That isn't the only pursuit in this movie. There is lots of punching and kicking in SOTU. There is lots of shooting. There is lots of explosions. I wished that I had seen the 2005 before the 2017. After I got into this one I quit that thinking. So earlier I was directed by an Amazon Prime Video email and for this one I used the first in the list PEOPLE WHO WATCHED THIS MOVIE WATCHED... And I landed at this older and I have XXX in my personal library in this apartment. I haven't watched it in over 9 years.

Love the movie with the star Ice-Tea in it.

Poor script, bad acting, yet fun to watch.Seriously, the lines are delivered as if in a high school play written by two 7th graders. Despite all this it really was enjoyable to watch (you really need to suspend any disbelief for this to happen :) )

Not the best of the series, but still very Good Overall
