VASCHY15.6 inch Laptop Shoulder Bag Vintage Waterproof Oilcloth Shoulder Bag with Padded Shoulder Strap

Bought as a smart laptop/briefcase to look better with a suit than the usual backpack I use. It's so good, it's now become my "daily", easily carrying a 13"MacBook Air in a hard case, iPad, cables for everything, EU adapter plug and usually a ton of paper and brochures too. The pocket on the lid has been especially handy for keeping my passport to hand when moving through airports.The canvas material is good quality, although in my day to day travel I haven't yet tried it for waterproofing as yet - To be honest I'd be using my North Face pack if I planned to be out in bad weather for any length of time.Minor criticism would be the top handle has a few loose threads, and when the bag is carried by the handle the whole top flap lifts - it isn't possible to lash it down any tighter with the two front buckles. I've also found the strap on the back for sliding over the handle of rolling luggage a bit too baggy - the bag has a tendency to slide sideways and then around the handle - sounds like a small inconvenience but a pain when you're rushing through the terminal.All in all, the bag is keeping its shape well, it looks smart enough yet casual enough for most situations, and so far, it feels as though it'll be with me for several years.Pretty hard to grumble at the price - go for it :)

This bag is very stylish and well finished, and appears to do the job I wanted it too. It doesn't look like a laptop bag- which was important to me due to concerns regarding aggrivated theft. The bag also fits in well with smart and/or formal wear. There is enough room in the main compartment for 2-3 moderately thick A4 sized books in addition to a 15.6 inch laptop, if you need to carry more than that though, or you have other bulky objects to take in addition to books/folders (such as a lunch box), then you might find this bag too small unless you leave something behind or get really creative with the space to squeeze it in. However, it is worth mentioning that there are a myriad of pockets of various sizes and shapes that can be utilised for any small items such as stationary or drink canisters etc so that they don't take up valuable space in the main compartment.

A nice looking bag. It holds a lot of heavy books and folders and has held up well so far. It doesn't expand as much as I thought it would but is otherwise a nice bag

This bag has so very many pockets. I was able to sort everything into their own little sections. A problem I've had with many pocketed bags in the past is that when all the pockets are used, the main compartment can't fit much in it. With this bag, I've put a couple of things in each pocket and still had a large amount of space left.The other problem I often find is that straps aren't designed to support the amount of weight a big over the shoulder bag can carry and soon start to break but the straps on this are very well made and attached to the bag. I have confidence that they'll easily last more than a year.Things I was pleasantly surprised by: The side pockets look small at first glance but they're actually elasticated. Unsurprising my 1 litre bottle didn't fit in them but my 750ml one did. Also the clips are adjustable. I haven't been able to close some past bags when they were full because the fasteners wouldn't reach but I can extend the length on this one. Lastly the laptop compartment has a thick divide and a LOT of padding at the back.I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a great bag have managed to fit laptop and other bits and lunch and a drink into the bag.. bigger than I thought but yeah overall great bag

This is a well made and spacious bag, with lots of pockets and sturdy buckles. The wide strap and wider pad make it comfortable to use.
