My go to whittling knife!
This is my favorite for whittling. I am just really getting into whittling and have a bunch of different knives that I use but this is my go to.It takes and edge easily and it holds it forever almost if you use it right. It’s definitely breakable if used improperly but I’ve had knives from other companies that snapped easily. This knife is made of better steel. If I only had on whittling knife I would choose this one.

Great knife for those who are skilled at sharpening.
I bought this knife after watching a review made by a professional carver on YouTube. The carver had great praise for the make and feel for the knife. I typically use my old Mike Shipley Knives, Denny Knives, Flexcut and Helvie Knives that I bought over a decade ago. I figured I would try a new knife and I saw this on Amazon for a great price. In addition, I am a Polish-American woodcarver and I would like to support my brothers in Ukraine. I purchased a few knives and a gouge. First of all, I have years of experience with my own knives and I have modified the blades for my preference. Out of the package, the handle felt like a thicker version of my Flexcut Knives. The blades had course sharpening marks at the bevel which are similar to the old Mike Shipley Knives. This is most likely attributed to belt sanding. The blade angle was not set to my preference and appeared to have a micro-bevel on one side. This required more force to cut through wood. I took the knife to my sharpening area and spent some time on a fine diamond stone to create a flat bevel. I followed it up with medium and fine Arkansas Stones before I finished with stropping on a leather hone with green Zam. The sharpening paid off and made this an excellent knife with good edge retention. I strop about every 20 minutes of carving to keep it razor sharp. If I had any concerns with this knife, it would be the handle. I like a tighter clenched fist feel when I grab a knife. The belly of this knife is a bit wide. It looks like I may be able to sand the handle down a little to custom fit it. That is the beauty of this knife. There is enough material on the blade and knife to customize it. That being said, I would say this knife is most likely for those that already have good sharpening skills to make this a very good knife. The handle may be more appropriate for those with larger hands unless you have basic skills to personalize the grip. I am happy with my purchase and it was nice to spend time personalizing the knife. I will get a lot of use from this tool.

Sharp carving knife
Ordered this carving knife to see how well they are made. After receiving knife, used it on Tupole wood Christmas carving. Nice sharp blade. Good feeling handle for my extra large hands. Good quality for the low price. A good knife for seasoned or beginners carvers.

It is works, nothin fancy, basic knife.
It will carve wood. It’s not as sharp as I would like out of the box. The spine of the blade is very thick, 3/32” thick, I had trouble with details and plunge cuts because of the this. It’s 100% worth the price.
