It didn't work out of the box, I downloaded Kali on the USB instead

I like Kali Linux. I had been using it for awhile now, but I was only using it on a Raspberry Pi board. I wanted to be able to use it on my HP laptop without removing the windows OS. This was before I had heard of Rufus. Which is nice but still a pain in the ass. It's always easier when someone else does it and this bootable drive made it happen.

All I had to do is figure out how to get my BOSGAME to boot from USB first, and it fired right up!You can pick from several install methods.. Live install is good if you just wanna use on the go, or you can go all out and install, choosing the partition size; this makes it easier to dual boot with, ie, Ubuntu.

Wanted to replace a PF-Sense router to become a Kali host (because of the more than usual count of LAN connections). This device made that OS replacement an absolute breeze. It had some trouble with the (older WiFi) hardware in my device, but that was overcome easily enough and the installation was a breeze. Recommend.
