I bought this sealant to keep the rubber feet on the cast-iron grills of my cooktop. So far it is holding up. Much better adhesion with this product vs Loctite 37467 Black RTV 598 High Performance Silicone.

Easy to apply. Cannot say how long lasting it will be but so far so good.

Used this high heat silicone to glue the front piece back on to our GE Profile oven. The front is black with a glass window. Felt that using this silicone was better than using high heat tape because the top of the front piece has to be slid under an upper piece to be reinstalled.Set the oven door on two saw horses. Cleaned the surfaces using paint thinner for the grease, then with acetone for the final wipe. Applied the silicone liberally on the sides. Put a 3/4" thick wood to space the bottom of the front piece while sliding the top end under the upper bracket. Then applied the silicone along the entire bottom end with the 3/4" wood still holding the space. Removed the wood and applied silicone for that portion and then set the front piece down. Used 3 clamps with gentle pressure to hold both sides and the bottom edges firmly in place. Left to dry overnight. Next day the front piece was firmly glued back in place. Will see how the fix holds up but am confident that the amount of heat at the glued areas will be much less than the rated heat for the silicone.
