I ordered this bit for my Dremel. It makes life so much easier when it comes to maintaining the dog’s nails. This bit does not play around! It cuts the grind time right down and with dogs who prefer not to sit still, it was totally worth the purchase.

I have been grooming dogs since 2001. Both professionally and now just for my own Goldens. I cut and grind every time. I have used many “Dremel” tools. This one by far is the BEST one I have ever used along with the Diamond grinder. It is more quiet and has less vibration. Much better for dogs who are sensitive to this. It is very comfortable in handling, unlike other tools I have used. I have already recommended these to my friends who own dogs. I highly recommend these Diamonddg tool and Diamond grinder.

I use this on a standard poodle who would rather not have his nails ground. I guess it tickles terribly, or that is how he acts. The shape is great but it could be larger, especially the cone. I have used it for a couple of months and it doesn't seem to cut as well as when new. It is still very good. I hope the sharpness stays at this level. Only time will tell.

I've had this for about 2 years now. It's great for dogs that are a bit fearful of the dremel, because you can hold their nail in the divet for a couple of taps. It does not heat up the nail as quickly as the regular dremel, so you can hold the nail for it for a bit longer than a second or 2 without burning the dogs nail and quick. All of my puppies have had a great nail trimming experience with the help of this handy tool. It does not tear the dogs paw pads, your nails, or your skin! It also does not create a dust cloud of nail dust! It is softer than the normal dremel, so it might take a tad longer to grind, but rest assured it is well worth it for the dogs comfort. It's also easier to handle and does not get away from your grip. Overall, I have had a great experience using it.

I have been using this item and when you first receive it, it is fantastic! However, after the first few times using it, it did not function as well after that? Reason is you loose some of the "diamond" cutting action? You would think for its price it would last longer especially since it is supposedly built for groomers? So I am sure this is one of those hit and miss items. Some great, some not worth the time or money.

Works great, holding up very nicely, and do not cause heat like a typical sandpaper or stone head would.

I switched up my dog nail set up to a Dremel 7760 and this bit and my dog didn't fight me. It doesn't skip around anywhere near the same amount and feels like a lot smoother finish. Seriously, she's going on 15 and she's hated having her nails done w/ a sandpaper bit her whole life. I was even able to get my young, spazzy dog's nails done.
