This shampoo has no coconut oil or coconut derivatives! Having developed a sensitivity to coconut these last few years, I was amazed to find very few products without coconut. I am so glad I found this shampoo. It lathers nicely, smells great and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean. May they never change this formula. It would be great if the company created more products without coconut. I would buy them as well.

I tried this a while back, and I thought it was too drying. After talking to my stylist about dealing with dry hair, she mentioned that it could need clarified. There’s a lot that can build up on hair making it weighed down and dry. So I decided to try this again bc it’s a clean brand.I used this for about a week with a heavier, good slip conditioner and my hair feels way better. (I use Biolage hydra source detangling solution from Ulta). I wash about every other day or every 2 days or so.This is a sulfate free shampoo, which is a lot better and it seems harsh at first, but it actually feels much better now and helped after a week! Love this. Smells so good too. Citrus light scent. 🍊I tried sooo many shampoo/conditioners etc.. And my scalp was itchy too. This really helped and also too, not going to bed with wet hair — dry it! Game changer.Hope this helps someone. ☺️

I’ve used the orange shampoo and banana conditioner 3 times now. I have a coconut and palm oil allergy and I’ve had no reaction with these. They both smell amazing. The orange shampoo smells like Tang and the banana conditioner smells like banana laffy taffy or those banana shaped Runtz hard candies.You don’t need much shampoo, cleans great without stripping hair. You also don’t need much conditioner, it made my hair incredibly soft. I have fine, straight hair that’s easily damaged.They’re so good that my Husband refuses to use his old shampoo, and he doesn’t even have allergies! Thank you so much for making these products coconut free. Would love to see a coconut free toothpaste in the future!

For people who are sensitive to coconut, this shampoo really can’t be beat. It lathers and cleans well, smells lovely, and doesn’t irritate the skin. It is a little pricey, but I am ok with that as long as this particular formula is available. Right now, it shows unavailable in all corners of the interwebs, high I have found to be a bad sign. Hopefully it will come back in stock! Please don’t discontinue this!!!

Like many reviewers here, I tried this shampoo due to coconut sensitivity. I like that it lathers well and doesn’t strip my hair. I don’t need a conditioner with this shampoo. My hair is accustomed to co-wash products and only being washed 2x per week. I do need to wash my hair more frequently with this product but that is true for any shampoo that lathers. I like using this shampoo in warm weather or when I’m sweating more since I will need to wash it more often anyway.

I need to use coconut free products and finding a coconut free shampoo is not easy. There are very few out there. This product smells absolutely delicious like fresh cut oranges first thing in the morning! I like the plunger bottle which I find is very convenient. The product works well and my hair feels nice and clean. The shampoo is mild and isn’t overdrying to me, but I wouldn’t consider moisturizing. So those who want extra moisture would need to get a conditioner. The reason why I gave it four stars out of five is this: I received the product and even though the top of the plunger had been taped, there was soap all over the bottle and all over the box! This really UPSET me! This product is very expensive and I don’t know how a big family could afford to use it! I could’ve sent it back, but I needed to have coconut free products immediately and didn’t want to wait for another shipment. PLEASE find away to ship your products without having them leak all over the place!

After finding a great shampoo for my kids (ewg verified) - this one - mom began to look for an EWG verified for herself. Everything I tried left my hair greasy, heavy, dull, and feeling dirty. I tried 3 other shampoos, used apple cider vinegar to try to help, and nothing was working. I randomly decided to try my KIDS shampoo and I am so happy to say that my search is over! I have very thick hair and this gets through it all to clean, leaving me feeling fresh, clean, my hair light and brilliant instead of heavy and dull. I will use this product as long as I can! So happy! My kids love the smell, too! And their hair ALSO looks and feels great!

Absolutely love this shampoo. Works great for being an all natural shampoo!
