Took a little while to arrive, but dang what a difference! My previously unplayable original pressing of Black Sabbath vol 4 sounds like a brand new record... 50 years of dirt, grime and fingerprints gone. All it took was this machine, water, a spot of fairy and a 5 minute spin. 20 mins of drying and a few revolutions with an anti static brush and it's ready to play. Spot on.Just be aware some no no's before ordering.Using Isopropyl alcohol in it can be dangerous so avoid if you can... and don't stick your fingers in the liquid whilst it's on, it can do some nasty things to your bones apparently. It's worth reading up a little about ultrasonic cleaning before using one.

I bought this cleaner with some reservations as to how well it would work. I have used it for several records that had lots of surface noise and am delighted about its effectiveness. Obviously it cannot repair scratches or wear but it has removed all dust and dirt from records I rarely played because of surface noise.I used the cleaner which came with it at half the recommended concentration in proper distilled water (not deionised). You do need to fill the tank to almost overflowing to get all the tracks so the syphon provided to empty it will be useful.
