This is an excellent bench for starting out. Many reviews stated it was difficult to assemble but all of the screws only fit the holes they are designated for. The only large diameter screw that is a different length is for the second step and it has 2 smaller washers whereas the other large diameter screws have a large and small washer. That's the only area I could really see causing any hold-ups. It took about 35 minutes to assemble since I had to remove the aforementioned screw from the wrong hole and replace it with the correct length. All in all it works very well albeit very basic and lacking some higher end options but for what I paid for it I'm perfectly content and I'm sure it'll last me until I need to upgrade in the future.

We finally got to step 2 or 3 and these parts do not align. I have read these instructions over and over and over to make sure I’m doing it correctly and I have the right parts that they sent, but there is a drill hole missing and I cannot connect this bar to the seat. I have seen others report the same issue unfortunately it was after I purchased. I am outside of my return window so I contacted Amazon to try to contact the seller and Amazon has told me three times in a chat that I will be issued a full refund. That has never happened. I would stay away from this product because you can’t even set it up to see how it works. you can see in my photo how these parts do not align.Update: I called the seller directly and offered to pay for a replacement part and because I’m outside of my window they won’t even help me with that. I do not recommend anything from this company because there is absolutely no guarantee that you can even assemble the product that they send you. You’re literally just giving them money for cheap metal and screws that don’t go together to create anything that resembles a usable weight bench.

This bench is great for starting out a gym. The assembly was a bit difficult as the instructions were not very clear in regards to what screw/bolt to use where. It took me about 1 hour to put together, but I felt that it could have gone a lot faster if the instructions were more clear.Overall, the bench is great for the price, but some areas could use improvements such as:*The dip station does not feel very sturdy due to the footprint and support on the ground, it should be more wider (yes it will increase the size of the space it occupies, but this could solve the flimsiness it feels during dips).*The fold up position's latch is not aligned properly, it works, but better alignment should be made so it's easier to use the safety bolt.Overall, it's a great starter bench, has lots of features such as sit up, dip, tricep station, and incline, decline, and flat benching. For incline/decline, I recommend using dumbbells.

I bought this set for my teenage son. The instructions were difficult to follow because the parts were not labeled properly. It was very difficult to identify which screw/bolt, etc. was for the specific assembly. The pictures did not help and the print was very small.Once fully assembled it is very shaky. The nuts provided were not compatible with the screws and it caused the bench to be extra wobbly. I am scared to let my son use it. I bought it for $59+ tax. I guess you get what you pay for. I will buying a more reputable bench soon.

I recieved this item quickly, it was easy to put together and works well. I wanted a home gym to be able to work out at home and this worked well. Good quality, would order again!
