Just what I needed!
I was struggling looking for a dryer vent that wasn’t just the typical aluminum type ones. I needed one that was very flexible and wouldn’t keep bending funny like the one I originally had. I’m very limited in space for my new laundry area and so I decided to get this vent and I just love it! It’s perfect size and super lightweight (yet sturdy) and very easy to manipulate. Just seems very high quality!

Flexible as needed
Needed a air vent hose that was sturdy and flexible. This hose meet are requirements. Quality material, easy flexible, comes with 2 clamps. Highly recommend.

Sturdy and good quality, but not 6" diameter
We purchased this to replace an existing shorter exhaust hose on a portable air-conditioner unit. The hose is strong and flexible. The springs are responsive. The only problem we had -- and it's a huge one -- is the host is not 6" in diameter. We ended up cutting through the spring wire, stretching as hard as we could (causing the plastic outer coating to rip), and having to use reinforced foam tape and several feet of clear 2" tape on top of the clamps to keep the hose attached to the unit. Now we are very careful if we move the air-conditioner. If you have a graduated exhaust vent, the hose will likely work much better. But be cautious with dimensions if you have an exhaust vent that is not flexible or compressible.

Simple, efficient and it looks good
My "vent" was a hole where I just put the duct on a "there, I fixed it" kind of structure (not pictured). This solved the problem. Now I have a decent-looking vent that can be easily cleaned.

Several Pinholes
Not as great as I hoped, but usable. Found a few pinholes in the flex duct upon opening the packaging. Luckily I only needed a few feet of flex duct, so I was able to cut the section where the pinholes were at off. If you need the full run of flex, probably best to consider an alternative. Otherwise, product was true to size, material, etc. and got the job done.

It is insulated and hopefully can handle dryer exhaust heat.
It is good quality and insulated. I just hope it can handle the electric dryer exhaust heat.
