Are these water-soluble like the ones by portfolio?

These don't dissolve in water like a water-color crayon would. These are regular oil pastels. They do wash off your hands in soap and water though.

This is a 50 piece set. I had never used pastels before and for a beginner like me these were great. Smooth movement and wonderful array of colors.
