After 9 months the the valve is slowly leaking even when fully closed. Any recommendations on solutions?

How do you close the cap over the valve? It will connect or close

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Once inflated, you apply a little pressure with your thumbs and the cap snaps on over the valve to close. It's also connected to the base of the valve itself so it doesn't completely remove or get lost. Hope this helps! Happy camping!
