AiMesh very easy to set up
I purchased this to expand my network in the bedroom. The current Asus RT-AC88U is working fine however it clearly needed support in the bedroom.Initially i thought that an Asus Repeater would suffice - RP-55U but boy was i mistaken. it was a frustrating experience with the AiMesh and I was about to give up. The RP-55U investment of AED 200 was a clear waste.Found the RT-AX55 and bought it with the intention of returning it in case if the RP-55U worked. however once I set up the AiMesh on the RT-AX55, I fell in love with the ease of configuration.It truly took less than 5 mins to set up the AiMesh and get a good wifi coverage in the bedroom. Including in the attached bathroom too.The features of the Asus in general are very satisfactory.Now to figure out how to disable the lights in both routers once we turn in.
