Drawing The Female Nude Paperback – 1 Jan. 1980

Really like this.The book is easy to follow and contains photographs pf the models together with the sketches. Comes in easy steps and after a while, my drawing has improved.Also features shading.

I actually like this book, worth the price.

I love Civardi’s art work and having already purchased some of his books I saw this on Amazon. It was second hand and very cheap but in good condition. This book has more to it than “The Nude”. It has 126 pages (The Nude has 64) and goes into more detail with photographs of the two models used in the book and a wealth of drawn poses. His approach is excellent and his drawings make me green with envy! I note that this book was published in 1992 while “The Nude” comes along in 2007. The quality of the later book shows through but this one is excellent.

The book does a good job in presenting and discussing poses. But it assumes yoy know everything about anatomy and proportions. There is a bit at the start regarding styles of sketching but if you're starting from scratch like myself, your better getting the complete guide book by the same author and then using this to develop your skills.But there's nothing wrong with the book and at the end of the day it doesnt promise to teach you everhthing about drawing, so it gets a 4/5

Enhanced my drawing so much! Love all the different poses they show in the book (there are no step-by-step guides but there are so many poses shown that it is easy to try to replicate them). Already created some really nice drawings using this book and there will be more to come!

This I feel has unnecessary riske poses. I wanted tasteful images I could practice with.Depends on what you are looking for. Bordering on pornography.Service was good

An excellent read. Clear descriptions of muscular and skeletal structure plus helpful drawing advice. Well illustrated.
