Truly solid construction
While this product is sturdily constructed out of good quality materials, the blade is very light for the handle, and the balance of the tool is more towards the user, whereas with cast iron tools the weight is nearly all on the far end, making for an easy swing. This means more effort is required to use it, but the blade is very thin and slices into compacted soil very easily. Must be cleaned immediately after use. Definitely good value for money.
