Has anyone tried storing it in the freezer?

I live 40 miles from the closest decent grocery store. For more than 10 years I have traveled to that store and bought a dozen loaves of bread at a time, each in it's own bread keeper. These all go on a shelf in my dedicated freezer (not a refrigerator freezer -- there is no automatic defroster). The bread I take out of the freezer and lay on a plate to thaw before using is just as fresh as if I just brought it home from the store.

Does the lid snap shut where bugs cant penetrate?

The lid closes tightly, but there are air holes in the bottom.

there are 3 sizes of Bread Buddeez for bread loaves. I like the one that is 5 x 5 x 13. the wide loaf one is nice too! It keeps the bread very fresh !! I have given several for gitfts !
