Artists Watercolors Paint Set (16 Pans in Carton Box)

This was my first set of watercolor paints and I've quickly fallen in love. It was recommended as a good set for beginners and since I've quickly learned how good I am at using them, I'd say that it was a very good recommendation. Good selection of color without being overwhelmed. Great price.

Those are great quality high pigment colors. I purchased it in addition to my old palette, and those colors definitely stand out. Love love love!

These are a product of Russia's paintmaking industry. They have more fillers than higher end, higher priced watercolors. but are still pretty good - I'd definitely recommend them over Grumbacher Academy student grade watercolors or any of the off-brands like Arteza. Also these look very similar to the Paul Ruebens watercolors, (packaging is even weirdly similar) but are better. Paul Ruebens have more fillers and paint out chalky. I like these a lot for practicing different pieces and color mixing.

Took a while to get here but very with it , they are much more pigmented than any other paint I have used before even compared to winsor and Newton. The pans are large and fit in a metal watercolor case

These are incredibly for the price! They have lasted me at least a year of weekly painting and sketch book spreads.

The packaging isn't wasteful and you can easily pop the pans into a travel palette. I have a 24 set of White Nights, but had gotten these shortly before. They are as easy to work with as the White Nights, and a great value. Highly recommend for serious students and for sketchbook work. I love the color choices for practicing mixing and doing studies.

These watercolors are great. I used them for watercolor paintings and also for work in my journals.

the packaging was different than the picture. They worked, the pigments do look like the picture and I like them, they're highly pigmented. In warm weather they have a play dough look almost 24/7 and must be well mixed with water.
