Anyone claiming they're "not waterproof" is likely using them wrong!The material itself is impermeable to liquid/moisture, the leaks people are likely experiencing are either due to improper fit (they NEED to be very snug around the leg cuffs and the waistband needs to extend well above the top of the diaper!The elastics are covered in a soft (but absorbent) material. So if they're directly exposed to the wet core of the diaper, they will "wick" the material out of the diaper and onto the wearers clothing or bedding, making it look like they just leaked everywhere, but in reality, the wet clothing sucked the liquid right out of the diaper!To prevent this, first off, make sure the leg cuffs of the diaper are pulled all the way up into the crotch area, and they're not dropping loosely when the wearer bends their legs or moves.Also make sure the diapers leg gathers aren't turned inward, run your fingers around the entire leg gather on both legs to make sure they lay flat and snug, high up into the crotch and around the leg.Next make sure the diaper itself is the correct size! This is REALLY important, if the wearer has a huge/oversized diaper, it will always fit loosely. And when you tuck that loose diaper inside of a pair of waterproof pants, the liquid will pour right out the leg gathers!The last thing is to make sure you're using the right diaper in the first place!If you're putting these pants over ANY product made by Depend, then you're going to have bad results.These pants aren't designed to sudden make BAD diapers work better! They're designed to help make GOOD diapers fit better by holding them up/in place better, and they're meant to help prevent the rare/infrequent leak that may happen when a "good" diaper is oversaturated or has become loose and is no longer fitting properly (like at night when the wearer tosses and turns and the diaper gets tugged/slid around or out of place.If the diaper all by itself (with no cover) leaks more frequently than not, then these pants are NOT the right option for you. You absolutely need to switch to a better diaper that performs better (which is NOT something you can buy from any grocery or drug store!, You need to order them online)Once you have the right diaper that can be worn by itself WITHOUT leaking most of the time, THAT'S when you should be considering using these pants over them.Putting these pants on over a Depend or drug store brand brief, is like putting a racing stripe sticker on a Ford Fiesta and expecting it to beat a Corvette on a race track!Start with a GOOD, high performance diaper.. them (and ONLY then) consider adding a pair of waterproof pants to help prevent the rare/occasional leak.Good luck!

I purchased a size XL for my 10 year old who occasionally has accidents in the bed at night. She is 10, is about 5'4", and weighs about 100 lbs. They fit perfectly around the waist with not much room for weight gain. I had to get some scissors and cut a little slit on the outer thigh of each leg of these vinyl underwear, or else the leg holes would be much too tight. There was zero leakage when she accidentally wet the bed.

Basically a nice item. Well made with soft materials. My only problem was the leg openings were too small. The up size would have been much TOO big elsewhere

I love the quality of these, the material is durable, washes well, has no odor and is roomy. However, sadly, I can't use them because the leg openings are too snug, even when I ordered a size too large. My client's skin is fragile and subject to wounds from any sort of irritation or pressure. These pants are expensive, and I bought two: medium (way too tight around legs, but roomy in seat) and large, for a 100lb girl, still too tight at legs, although very, very full in seat. I can use neither. Since they were not usable or returnable I thought I'd try to snip the elastic in the legs to relieve the pressure. Remarkably, the pants did not run or tear, so, are well made. After snipping, I was able to use the large, but not the medium.

This isn’t the same product as when I bought it several years ago. The plastic separated from the lining just like it did in the last pair I purchased. What happens next is tearing of the plastic then they go to the trash. I intend to replace the elastic in my very old ones of the same brand and go back to using them. These not only had too tight of elastic in the legs but also have poor quality. So now I have spent approximately $50 in useless merchandise. I saw a couple of reviews that mentioned another brand. I’m going to try that brand next. Pull a plastic garbage bag up to your waist instead of buying these expensive pants.

Bought this for my father who I was taking care of. He was having a lot of bladder issues. This seemed to work very well, I actually put it over his diapers. This was just an added protection, because the diapers didn't seem to do the job all the time if he peed a lot. They seem to hold a lot of it in, I was actually pretty happy with them. I found these on a review for the top adult diapers of the year. I was quite happy with them, and the price wasn't bad. I love the fact that they were washable and they held up in the washing machine! They dried really quickly too. If you need them, they do the job. Just keep in mind they are plastic so you need to wear something else with them you don't want just plastic on you down there

This product is awesome I'm 18 skinny and a bed wetter these are super snug and fit over my white briefs 🩲 and diapers and they don't leak.

Nylon material is sturdy (no tears), keeps in errant urinary leakage, yet easily washes in the sink. Dries completely in a few hours on hangar. Comfortable to wear, leg openings are snug yet comfortable, not noticeable under clothing, and they make very little rustling noise under clothing. I weigh 200 lbs, 5’4”, and wear two adult diapers at night. These panties help me immensely with sleep urination when I occasionally have leaks. Price is a bit high, but these work for me. Feel they will last through many uses.
