Hope I never have to use but so glad I have these. I bought enough for my entire family and everyone was thrilled to get it. Quality seems great, slightly larger and heavier than I expected but that adds to the quality. I would definitely recommend. Why wouldn’t you want something that is safe and easy to use in case of fire.

Fortunately I haven’t had to use this blanket. The quality is strong and heavy and I think it will definitely put out a fire. I purchased two of them, one for the kitchen and the other for my car. You never know if you have to put out a fire for someone while out or a fire coming from your car. Better safe, than sorry!

I hope never to use it. Its a great value to purchase the multi pack, enough to provide two for each family member. it is easier to use, store and reuse without considering an expiration date; it is lightweight and easy to handle by most ages. The bright red packaging and hanging loop makes it easy to locate when hanging. It has to be safer to use than an extinguisher, cannot drop it and break anything, nothing to clean up after its use.

I have one of these in the kitchen and another in the garage in the event needed. I like that they are easy to access, don’t take up a lot of room and are less intimidating than a fire extinguisher. Hopefully I will not have the opportunity to provide a real review of its effectiveness. 😊

YOU MUST PURCHASE THIS!My stepmom gifted all of us (adult and married) kids these for Christmas because she said an Instagram ad got her. We all teased her a tiny bit about the mom gift, but I came home and put it next to our fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Fast forward not even a year later and we are about to fry fish outside, I wasn't watching the grill burner that was turned on too hot, and a huge oil fire tower erupted while my stepmom was over - whole pan on fire, flames above the fence line.I went inside to grab the fire extinguisher (messy) and saw this instead. Very quickly opened it up, tossed it over the pan after I had shut off the propane, and the fire was immediately reduced and fully covered by the blanket. I left it on for about a couple hours to cool down before disgarding everything.Blanket had no holes, but definitely was blackened. THIS THING IS AMAZING! This turned an event into a non-event. The fire was so tall and hot, it burned through our café lights, but the blanket was durable, thick, and lightweight enough to easily toss over everything and not get damaged (although I did still toss it after).I immediately repurchased 2 more of these and had them delivered to me less than 12 HOURS after this initial incident. I will be gifting these to everyone I can think of from now on. MUST HAVE SAFETY ITEM. And my stepmom got to have the last, I told you so, happily.
