It says on the case it's made in Germany. It's also a great instrument.

The CX-12 comes with Hohner's standard hard case which protects it very well. Great chromatic!

What is low c? is this the same as a regular key of c chromatic

This is an 'industry standard' three octave chromatic harmonica. I have several 3- and 4-octave chromatics, from at least three brands, and the Hohner CX-12 is one of my regular go-to's. Easy to play, great tone (for my ears anyway!), easy to bend, easy to disassemble and clean. I actually keep one in my car to play along with the radio from time to time! All in all, a very good buy.
