Comfortable Feather Quality
Love these pillows so much I ordered another set immediately. The Goose Feather Down filling reminds me of the pillows my mom and grandmother always bought. These came individually wrapped in plastic sleeves; once you pull them out, they start to fluff up. Squeeze and shake to fluff fully, you won't be disappointed. I was concerned these might be too warm but did not have any issues with it and they held their shape. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased these and another brand at the same time. Both are the same size and similar quality of material, but these provided more of a feather quality to the pillow. The others feel like a fluffed up down comforter, not bad, just not what I wanted...keeping those for the guest bedroom.

Just like I remember!
When I was young, my grandmother bought me a goose down pillow. I loved its squishy and comfortable support. I recall her and her gift fondly. When I left home, I discovered memory foam pillows and their promises of a good night's sleep. My old pillow became a distant memory. Memory foam pillows were fine and offered decent support for my big head. I was lulled. Then the shredded memory foam pillow I had seemed to lose its memory other than memorizing the shape of my noggin. I couldn't get it to squish back into a good shape and dreams of my childhood pillow crept in as I tried to sleep. I began my search. I was dismayed that a lot of goose down pillows were quite expensive, and I couldn't justify an expensive risk for a romanticized memory. After all, memory foam pillows are still a thing and there are now even more alternatives. Then I found these king sized pillows, which compared to my standard sized pillow seemed like a body pillow. They are a bit more expensive than some pillows, but there are two big pillows and I was able to use a coupon. I'm a sucker for coupons. I made my purchase and they arrived swiftly. I followed the directions to plump up the pillows after they came out of their compressed packaging. I placed my head on the pillow and it sunk. My husband experienced the same sinking feeling, but also noted that his head was enveloped in comfort. He had never experienced a goose down pillow before. I recalled how I could squish my youthful pillow into shape and sleep like a baby. I did the same to my new pillow and I was off to blissful slumber. I don't even recall my husband snoring the next morning. He told me he slept well, so maybe he didn't snore. Maybe. These pillows won't keep our heads aloft like memory foam pillows, but they provide the support and comfort we need and like. There is something to be said about plumping and squishing a goose down pillow to release the stress of the day. I don't toss and turn trying to get comfortable, but just plump and squish the pillow to go off to dreamland. As a side sleeper and with the size of the pillow, I can even get some shoulder and back support or support like a body pillow for my torso. I'm thankful my grandmother introduced me to goose down pillows so many years ago. They really are just like I remembered!

Good buy!
I’d had a sore neck muscle for weeks and after staying at Double Tree hotel , I realized my personal pillow was too flat and causing the pain. While these are not QUTE the same firmness and thickness of Double Tree/Hilton Hotels’ pillows, they’re still pretty good. They don’t go completely flat. My neck still feels great.I think eventually I’ll buy the real Hilton ones but I’ll wear these out first and then to the guest bedroom they go!

Wow! :)
As a child growing up we had goose feather /down Pillows that were hand made with the classic striped ticking...these pillows are reminiscent of them! When I received them, they were hermetically vacuum sealed in plastic and rolled up, admittedly genius packaging job, two fit into a nice suitcase style box. After reading all the negative reviews of this product being too soft, I was concerned because I have gravitated to more firm pillows in the past, and have shelled out $$$s to buy “the next best thing” to come to the sleep industry because the older I am the less well I have been sleeping...:(I have owned two “My Pillows” that I didn’t purchase and while only “ok” I found them hot to sleep on and not firm enough. I have two buckwheat hull Pillows that are nearly perfect for the firmness and nature sourced materials right down to the covers, but washing them becomes an all day project because you must remove the hulls first and then put them back in afterwards...adjusting firmness to your preference. Somewhat noisy, but not a game changer because if I’m exhausted enough I can sleep on a rock, but all that changed with my Hemorrhagic Stroke 4 years ago.Since then, I have developed a common ailment to some stroke survivors that is known as vertigo which is hell if you have it and it was getting worse...my Doctor suggested a change of pillow to something less firm from the buckwheat hulls I have been using...I have used expensive memory foam pillows promising “stays cool” technology that didn’t live up to that hype, with a memory that was too good and felt as if I was being ejected off the pillows ultimately leaving me with a kink in my neck that hurt! Then I remembered Pillows that I had slept on at the hotel in Lake Lure, NC where “Dirty Dancing” was filmed, and they were Down filled, natural and wonderfully comfortable, as were the mattresses (Jennifer Gray room). So armed with my MD’s instructions to change, and I am not a fan of change, I dove in and went with these pillows and so far so good. For side sleeping One is adequate and It didn’t require lots of fussing with, just give it a shake, holding it at the end and voila! Comfy pillow for this side sleeper. I have both piled up as I write this review and the elevation is fine for that purpose but for sleep, one suffices for me.As some of the reviewers recommended, I put each individual Pillow into the clothes dryer on low for 15 minutes to fluff it and it was fine. I have pillow protectors on each of them and the function of the gusset is not impeded. I also have a queen pillow case on the pillows and still no problem! I think I may have my answer in this product! I Just woke from a refreshing nap using one pillow and after all the snow shoveling I have done over the last 24 hours due to the “cyclone bomb” in the Northeast, I may be exhausted enough to sleep on a rock. If my opinion changes I will return to adjust this review, but I don’t think that will be necessary! “Happy Camper” so far!Returning a week later to say emphatically that I am absolutely overjoyed that I bought these pillows! Still in Love and sleeping well🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
